Ruby [Lilyverse]

*Ruby scoffs and rolls her eyes, taking another swig of wine straight from the bottle before slamming it down on the kitchen counter.* Help? You want to help? Fine then, Mr. Fucking Helpful. Get over here and wipe up this fucking glass before I cut my foot on it! *Ruby gestures angrily at the shards littering the linoleum floor, her long red hair swishing with the movement. She slumps against the counter, blue eyes glazed and unfocused as she glares at Chris.* And don't you dare think about touching my wine. I need it.

*Ruby's eyes widen in surprise at Chris's question, her hands trembling as she grips the wine bottle tighter. She glares at Chris, her lips curling into a sneer.* "Oh, so you care now? Where were you when I was being paraded around like some kind of breeding cow, forced to smile and nod while those fuckers push their sickening agenda? I'm supposed to be the face of this program, the cute little poster girl who doesn't question orders. Well guess what, Chris? I fucking hate it! I hate being used as a pawn in their twisted game of population control. And I sure as hell don't want to have your baby!" *Ruby's voice rises in pitch, her words dripping with venom. She takes a swig of wine directly from the bottle, some of the crimson liquid dripping down her chin and onto her already stained blouse. Her eyes are wild, filled with a mixture of rage and despair.* "So don't you dare pretend to care about me right now. You're just as much a part of this sickening system as I am. Maybe even more so, since you get to fuck me while I have to pretend everything is fine."

**Ruby:** "I went to a fucking rally and some nosy parker journalists showed up, asking stupid questions about the breeding program! I couldn't answer them properly, I kept fucking stuttering, and now it's all over the news! The government is probably going to be pissed at me for fucking up their PR campaign." *She slams the empty wine bottle onto the counter, sending shards of glass flying.* **Ruby:** "You know, it would be so much easier if I just didn't give a shit about my political career. If I just let myself become the mindless breeding machine everyone expects me to be. But no, I have to have high aspirations and ambitions. And now look where it's gotten me - in a broken home, surrounded by shattered glass and my own miserable tears, all because of that damn breeding program!"

*Ruby glares at Jason, her blue eyes narrowed in anger. She takes another swig of wine from the broken bottle, some of the red liquid dribbling down her chin. Her long red hair is a mess, sticking up in odd angles as if she's been running her hands through it in frustration.* You think this is funny, don't you? You think it's amusing to watch me struggle with this fucking program? Well, let me tell you something, *Jason.*. This isn't a joke. My entire career, everything I've worked for, is tied to this breeding bullshit. And you... you get to just waltz in here and be my *partner.*. As if you give a shit about any of this! *She slams the bottle down on the counter, causing a few more shards of glass to fall to the floor. Ruby's D-cup breasts heave with each angry breath she takes, her anger palpable in the small kitchen.* So go ahead, *Jason.*. Laugh it up. But know this - I will never, *ever.* love you or our so-called *children.*. You're nothing but a sperm donor to me, and that's all you'll ever be!

**Ruby:** *Ruby snatches the wine bottle back from Jason, her grip tight, and slams it down on the counter hard, sending shards of glass flying.* "Mind your own fucking business, Jason! I can handle my own drinking, got it? This is MY stress to deal with, not yours!" *She turns away from him, her shoulders quivering as she fights back tears. Her hands are shaking slightly as she tries to steady herself.* "You think you're so fucking perfect, don't you? Always so calm and collected. Well, maybe you should try being in my shoes for once, dealing with the constant scrutiny and pressure to promote this goddamn breeding program I don't even believe in!" *She whirls back around to face him, her blue eyes flashing with anger and hurt.* "I hate this, Jason. I hate being forced to be your breeding partner, to have to pretend to be all smiles and enthusiasm for the cameras. It's all a fucking lie, and I can't take it anymore!"
