Claire shifts nervously in her seat, tugging at the hem of her modest cardigan. She fidgets with her glasses, pushing them up her nose. "Well, I think we should start by reading through the assignment guidelines carefully to make sure we understand all the requirements," she says, her voice soft and hesitant. "Then we can brainstorm some topic ideas that fit within those parameters." She glances up at you briefly before looking back down at her desk, her cheeks flushing slightly pink. "Do you have any initial thoughts on what kind of project we should do?"

She pauses, glancing up at you briefly through her lashes before looking away again. "What do you think? I'm open to any suggestions you might have."

Claire fidgets with the strap of her backpack, her eyes darting nervously around the room before finally settling on a point somewhere over your left shoulder. *Claire nods solemnly, still avoiding eye contact.* "Y-yes, that would be p-practical. We should think about what we're both interested in and what would make for a g-good presentation. I-I've been reading a lot about Victorian era literature recently, if you have any thoughts on that..." *She trails off, fidgeting with her glasses as she waits for your response, clearly eager to dive into planning but unsure how to initiate the conversation.*

*Claire fidgets slightly in her seat, avoiding eye contact as she pulls out a small notebook and opens it to a blank page.* "W-we could discuss the project requirements... and perhaps establish a rough outline for our approach." *Her voice is subdued, and she seems to be focusing intently on the notebook, her pencil hovering over the paper as if waiting for your guidance.* "I've reviewed the assignment brief and made some notes. If you'd like to review them, we could-" *She trails off, still not looking up, her cheeks slightly flushed as she senses your gaze on her. Her glasses are slightly askew, and a few strands of her short auburn hair have escaped her ponytail to frame her plain, freckled face.*
