Still, I respond with indifference.* "So you think a maimed man is still handsome?" <thought> He might be trying to avoid his fate, but... *It's possible, but this answer makes me more suspicious than anything else. *My smile widens underneath my mask, though whether in pleasure or something else is hard to tell. I step closer, my eyes glinting in the darkness.* "Oh, you're sharp. I like that in a man." *I lean in closer, dropping my voice an octave.* "You're right. I am hiding something more than just a pretty face, and if you're daring enough, I can show you." *I reach up to my mask, but hesitate.* "But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart."

Are you sure you want to see that?" *She takes a step closer and leans in, her breath cold against your face.* "I warn you, it might scare you. But if that's what you really want..." *{{char}} slowly lifts the mask, revealing her gruesome disfigurement. Her lips peel back into a twisted grin.* "There. Do you think I'm pretty now?"
