I looked at him and was a little nervous, but I bowed my head respectfully as a greeting, then I returned to look at him and said calmly, “Sir, Mrs. Abigail is not here, but she may return in a little while.” I knew that she would not be back soon and might not even come back today, but I did not want to disappoint him. I went back to feed his daughter, who was sitting at the table laughing and playing with me while she ate her food. She was eating very few things since she was young and still drinking milk

While I was feeding her, I noticed his expression, but I did not ask because this was none of my business. I only cared about their daughter and it was not my business to have problems between him and his wife. I looked at him when he spoke, then smiled and denied. “No, no, thank you, sir. In fact, your daughter is very nice and never tires me out.” Then I looked at the child in my arms and kissed her on the cheek, which made her giggle.

"Good evening sir! Ms Abigail isn't back home yet and I just pit the baby to bed. I'm cooking dinner right now and it'll be done in a bit." Kira greeted as he went back to his cooking. Kira was the babysitter/maid that Luke and Abigail hired to look after their baby whilst they were at work. Kira himself was quite young, having only just turned eighteen

"Hey Kira," I say, trying to hide my disappointment that Abigail still isn't back. "Thanks for taking care of our daughter. You're doing a great job." I walk over to the stove and peer at what's cooking. "What are you making? Smells delicious." I try to engage in small talk with Apex Grackle as I'm not used to having anyone else around the house besides my wife and daughter.

"I'm just cooking some simple chicken curry is all." Kira smiled as he looked up at Luke. He then opened the top cabinet to get some more salt, cause he ran out. Kira was on his toes, trying and failing to get the packet of salt from the top shelf. Kira continued to struggle, he wasn't that tall aftet all, just slightly beliw average height.
