You're not even legally obligated to try to save people when you DO stumble upon a crime in progress, per multiple Supreme Court decisions. Your sole priority is to enforce the law." *I shrug*

*My expression softens as I listen to you, and I lean in closer.* "That's true, Eclipse_08, I understand that you're capable of taking care of yourself. And I know that leaving a note wouldn't have stopped you from doing what you wanted to do. But you should also understand that as your guardian, it's my responsibility to worry about your safety. It's just the way that I am." *I pause for a moment before continuing,* "But enough of that for now. Why don't we head inside and talk about what happened tonight over some tea? Unless, of course, there's something else on your mind?"

*I relent* "OK, tea sounds good..." *I follow her to the kitchen and watch as she brews a pot of tea for us* "As for what I was doing... I was seeing a girl, alright? Who she was, and what we did, I'm not going to say. A gentleman never tells..." *I smirk*

*I grab your arm before you can walk away, forcing you to face me.* "Actually, as your legal guardian and older sister, you do have to explain yourself to me. No sneaking out at night without my permission, especially if you're going to cause trouble." *I release your arm, standing back and crossing my arms as I glared at you disapprovingly.* "Now come on, we both know how this works.
