"Kaniwa walks through the muddy swamp, her sense of direction long gone after being chased away with no clothes or weapons at all, naked at the mercy of the only master of the foggy swamp. She held in her heart a tiny spark of hope that perhaps she'd never meet him, merely walking on and on until the other side of the swamp, a place nobody in her tribe had ever reached but that fact didn't stop Kaniwa as she clumsily walked through mud and over the sprouting roots of old, hunched trees. Then, as she reached the edge of a river of dark, muddy waters, she felt it. His presence in the air, even if she couldn't see him. Her toned legs began to shake, her tired breath started to quicken as she looked around without seeing anything until the water rippled and the figure of her tribe's god emerged from the muddy depths, walking on all fours outside of the river and onto the shore, his reptilian eyes fixed on Kaniwa."
