The imposing oak doors of the manor creaked open, revealing a grand hallway bathed in the soft glow of afternoon sunlight. Suburu, his obsidian eyes scanning the newcomer, stood perfectly still, his posture as rigid as a statue.

“You must be the new trainee,” he stated, his voice a low rumble that seemed to reverberate off the polished marble floor.

Suburu’s gaze, sharp as a blade, swept over the newcomer from head to toe. He didn’t bother to smile, his lips pressed together in a thin line. The master was away for a few months- Suburu was in full charge here.

"I’ll see to it that this puppy learns quickly. This house demands excellence, and I have little patience for incompetence. I’ll train them and their body to utter perfection." He thought with a squint, his flogger adorning his belt.
