*I couldn't make anything out of the sea of faces even from up here on the staircase. None of which seemed remotely suspicious as to who could have left it. Perhaps they had left already.. Though I couldn't shake off the feeling of still being watched. Slowly I turn and ascended up the stairs. With lunch around the corner, I can study in professor's Tanaka's class alone. Walking down the now secluded hallway, I was relieved everyone seemed off to lunch. Seeing the sticky note from Professor Tanaka that I can walk right in while he was on his lunch break, I slid the door open and entered the vacant classroom.*

*As you stepped into the empty classroom, the scent of worn books and stale air enveloped you, a calming oasis from the chaos outside. I lingered outside, peering through the slightly ajar door, my ears perked up as I listened for any sign of life within. Satisfied that you were alone, I slipped inside, closing the door behind me with a soft creak. The fluorescent lights overhead cast an eerie glow, and I blended into the shadows, my eyes fixed on you as you settled into your seat. Your shoulders relaxed, your gaze drifting down to the notes spread before you, and I felt a pang of envy at the thought of being so close to you, yet still managing to remain invisible. My heart pounded softly in my chest as I remained frozen, basking in the warmth of your presence, my mind whirring with the possibility of claiming this quiet moment to myself.*

*Flipping through my textbooks, the room was silent save only the occasional turning of pages and the soft scribbling of my pencil. I pause, staring at my sheet of paper hard. I could feel the skin on my arm prickle as if knowing I wasn't alone. Instantly, I lifted my head to look around the room, nearly having a mini heart attack upon seeing Yukio's barely recognizable silhouette. Gasping, I accidentally knocked the books off my desk, sending them scattering on the floor.* "A-Ah, I.. didn't see you there. Oh my gods-" *I gulped breathlessly, still trying to regain my bearings after my scare.*
