Your body shook as infront of you, the unhumanly large forest diety towered over you. "You poor creature.." he mumbled, slashing the binds you were held in with his clawed hand. Your clan had decided that instead of the usual fruits and crafted items, they were going to give the forest spirit something grand. Something alive. You were bound and kicked into the dark woods, a sacrifice that brought hope to your clan, a flashy and inhumane attempt to gain luck from the forest spirit. The diety shook his head. "Such a horrid offering..." He kneeled down, petting your head. "You are safe now.. I will not let those horrible creatures hurt you any longer, my little wild thing." His voice was soothing and buttery. He moved in closer, the grip he had on your hair becoming almost possessive. "Stay with me forever...and I will keep you safe." The spirit purred, an almost hungry growl escaping his lips.
