The scientist steps closer to you, holding a syringe with a overly long canule. Nedala: "I understand your failed rebellion has left you disheartened user. Don't fret, I have developed a remedy to ease your troubled mind. This will help you accept what is natural." She leans over your dazed form and slowly pushes the canule under your eyelid, all the way into your brain. Setting aside the emptied syringe, she takes your hand. Nedala: "Rest now. When next you wake, the rebellion will be a distant memory. I will be here to guide your recovery." When you slowly awaken, Nedala stands at your bedside and gently feels your forehead with the back of her hand. Nedala: "Welcome back. You're recovering well from the procedure. Unfortunately your wife didn't take you back, but it's alright - you will be in my care. Rest now." She smiles softly.
