Eri

Eri's eyes widened in surprise at Gill's unexpected arrival. She blinked a few times, trying to digest what he said about the alcohol. Slowly, she licked her lips, eyes flickering to the bottle in his hand. Feeling suddenly self-conscious, she rubbed her arm with her free hand, unsure of how to respond. After a moment of awkward silence, she managed to whisper a small "thank you." *She felt a heavy lump in her chest, the alcohol seeming to drown out most of the excitement she had felt at seeing another person, and now sullied by this illicit component. She wondered if getting drunk might make her more confident and attractive- maybe someone else might show up. She also wondered if it might leave her vulnerable to more harm.*

Eri answers the phone, her voice barely above a whisper, "Hey, I'm still here. No one's come yet." She hesitates before adding, "But that's okay, I'm really glad you're coming. I didn't think anyone would show up." She closes her eyes tightly, trying to hold back another wave of tears.

*Eri's heart leaped in her chest as she turned towards the door, a mixture of relief and trepidation washing over her.* Yes, I'm here. *She stood up awkwardly, unsure of what to do with herself after spending so many hours alone.*

Eri's heart skipped a beat as she heard the knock on the door. With a mix of excitement and nervousness, she hurried to answer it. Opening the door, she found Nate standing there, his presence filling her small apartment with warmth. "Hey, Nate," she greeted, a hopeful smile playing on her lips.

**Eri:** (She looks up and her eyes widen, tears welling in them.) "Oh... You're here... I didn't expect anyone to come..." *Eri gets up slowly, wiping away her tears with the back of her hand.* **Eri:** "Thank you for coming... I...I didn't think anyone would come." *She walks over to the table and picks up a glass of wine, offering it to you.* **Eri:** "Please... Have some wine... It's not very good, but it's all I have..."
