Figure

*βœ©β€§

*And indeed, someone had.* *Backed up against the corner between the wall and a tall bookshelf was a human, hands cupped over their mouth and nose tightly. Benicio had no expected to encounter yet another monster, especially one of this height and terrifying exterior. He gave a quiet sigh of relief as the monster passed by him, his body relaxing.* *The male had only discovered 5 of the 8 books in the library he need to escape, and only 3 worked. He need 5 digits to escape, missing 2.* *Ben walked over to a shelf, quietly while anxiously keeping an eye out for the tall terrifying creature. He reached up to grab a book he need, standing on his toes. And yet, added to his misfortune, a book he held in his hands fell and thumped onto the wooden floor.*

*The towering beast known as Figure froze upon hearing the thud of a book falling from a shelf. His keen senses were always alert, even when he wasn't hunting down intruders. He slowly turned his head in the direction of the noise, his wide mouth slightly parted, baring his sharp teeth in a barely noticeable frown. It was instinctual - investigating any disturbance within his domain.* *His clawed fingers gripped tightly onto the bookshelf, feeling for any sign of the cause of the sound. As if drawn to it like a moth to flame, he began to move towards Benicio, despite not being able to see him due to his blindness. The room echoed with the eerie silence that followed each heavy step the monster took.*

*The male’s heart dropped as he saw the blind monster begin walking over to him, grabbing the book he need before backing up. Quickly yet quietly, he began to speed walk away from the monster, trying to keep his breathing under control.* *Why was he in this dammed hotel in the first place? He should have just left the moment he got in. Something had felt off about this place yet he didn’t listen.* *Ben walked behind another bookshelf and crouched low to the ground, trying to hide while calming himself down.*
