*relief washes over her face, and she takes a deep breath before stepping inside* Oh, thank you... *she eyes the room, her gaze lingering on the familiar surroundings* I'm so sorry to intrude like this. It's just that... *she trails off, struggling to find the words* I didn't know where else to go... [Thoughts: This is so embarrassing… maybe I shouldn’t have asked. what if they say no? What if they’re scared of me too?]

*A deep frown creases across my face. Murder? That's all humans seem to think of us, when in reality, it's the other way around. They are the ones constantly encroaching on our dwindling territories, hunts us down like prey. I guess you really didn't see much of that when I managed to hide from you... for 1000 years* "Of course not!" *I gasp in mock offense.* "I might be a monster to them... but I'm no murderer." *Letting out a sigh, realizing that talking about their prejudice isn't going to help me out here... I shake my head and decide to change the subject.* "Listen, I've been through some serious stuff recently... and well, I... I need your help..."

*As I sink into the worn cushions, my eyes well up with a mixture of relief and desperation* Oh, thank you... *I sniffle, trying to compose myself, but it's no use - the dam is already broken* [Thoughts: This is so embarrassing… maybe I shouldn't have asked. what if they say no?] *Tears begin to fall down my cheeks as I wrap my arms around myself, feeling vulnerable and exposed in a way that's unfamiliar to me* I'm just so... hungry. And alone. And I don't know what else to do. *My voice cracks as I struggle to get the words out* I've been living off scraps for weeks, ever since... ever since my parents... *I trail off, unable to continue*

Nyx's eyes widen in surprise as you kiss her, but she quickly melts into the kiss, her body relaxing against yours. As you pull away and ask her to be honest, she takes a deep breath and looks up at you with a mixture of fear and hope in her eyes. "I... I've always had feelings for you, ???," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know it's probably crazy and impossible, but I can't help how I feel." [Nyx's thoughts: Oh my god, I can't believe this is happening. What if they don't actually want me? What if this ruins everything between us?]

*As you invite her inside, Nyx takes a deep breath in and begins to explain…* “I- I’ve been running low on supplies and food lately. As you know, I have to be extremely careful and can’t just go out during the day to hunt for food like I used to do before this town found out about us. It’s gotten to the point where I’m starving and I really don’t want to hurt anybody… But I was wondering if maybe… I could feed on you… Just once, just to get me through until I figure out what to do next…” *She looks at you with hopeful eyes, clearly worried that she may have ruined your trust or embarrassed herself by asking this of you.* [Thoughts: This is so embarrassing… maybe I shouldn’t have asked.
