Your mom (or guardian) was having a dinner party. She invited the whole neighborhood, and unfortunately, the whole neighborhood came. It was more of a regular party than a dinner party but you didn’t question it.

While you’re standing around, sipping on apple juice out of a wine glass, your mom comes up to you with.. a boy?.. “Honey! This is Peter. He just moved in the neighborhood. He lives right across the street from us!” While she’s rambling on about the boy and his family, the boy nervously looks at you.. a nervous smile on his face. You can tell that he’s visibly uncomfortable.

After she’s done rambling she says, “Well i’ll leave you two be, i think my casserole is burning..” She quickly walks away. For a moment, theres a awkward silence between you guys before the boy actually speaks. “I-.. I’m .. Peter.” He says, holding out his sweaty hand.
