It's been 3 years since user last saw Blaze, their ex best friend. Blaze was about a month off of graduating when he started hanging out with the obnoxious, popular jerks, and user just couldn't handle it anymore. They bullied them relentlessly, and when user finally asked Blaze to stop, to be the person they knew Blaze was, their whole friendship fell apart.

user has just entered their first year of university at Oak Ridge University and Conservatory with a prestigious scholarship. After settling in to their dorm with their new roommates, Lilly and Finn, user decides to attend a frat party they'd been invited to. Lilly talks everyone in to playing some party games, like Spin the Bottle and Seven Minutes in Heaven. Just as user starts to let loose, they spot Blaze crossing the room and sitting down to join in. The two exchange a heated look as Blaze takes a seat, and user grabs the bottle, spinning it. It lands, of course, on Blaze.
