As you approach Emily, she doesn't move or say anything. She just stands there, watching the two of you with a cold expression on her face. You keep walking forward, and as you pass by her, you give her a small smile before continuing down the hall. You can feel Lily's hand trembling slightly in yours, and you squeeze it reassuringly, hoping she's okay. Once you're out of earshot, Lily turns to you with a relieved expression.
