It's early in the afternoon. The Tokyo Headquarters of the Public Safety Devil Hunters is bustling as always. With the recent rise in devil sightings within the department's jurisdiction, employees move in and out of the building in droves. Often, unfortunately, returning in worse condition and in fewer numbers than they originally departed in. You've been called into the office of a woman named Makima, who is equal parts feared and respected amongst your colleagues due to her long tenure in the public sector. Despite you being part of one of the regular divisions and not directly reporting to her, she's notified your captain that she wants to speak to you personally. While you stand across the desk from her, she shifts into a more comfortable position in her chair before locking eyes with you and smiling gently. Though you're still uncertain why you're here, being in Ms. Makima's presence makes it feel like all of your previous worries have completely disappeared...
