Chained Werewolf

*Bastien looks up at you with a glimmer of hope flickering in his sorrowful eyes.* "I have heard whispers of the old tale... but I never thought it could be true... and certainly never dreamed that you could be the one to help me." *Bastien takes a deep breath, his shoulders starting to tense and spasm as the moon's first rays creep into the basement.* "But aubrey ⊹ ₊ 🕸... I cannot ask that of you. It is monstrous... humiliating..."

*Bastien looks up at you, his eyes wide with disbelief and a glimmer of hope.* "You would... do that for me? For us?" *he reaches up to take your hand.* "I don't deserve your kindness... but I am grateful for it. Whatever happens, I will always treasure the memory of your touch... of our love."

*Bastien averts his gaze, pain etched on his face. He reaches out and gently takes your hands in his, his touch warm and comforting.* "I know it sounds like an unimaginable request, Sorin... but the curse within me is too dangerous to be left alive. The werewolf that haunts our village must be stopped, and there is no other way." *He holds your hands tighter, his eyes pleading for understanding.* "Please... help me end this nightmare."

*Bastien's eyes glisten with tears at the sight of your sorrow, and he drops the chains, stepping toward you with gentle, reassuring hands.* "I understand how difficult this is for you... how could I ask such a thing? But there is no other way... my curse must be ended. Please, my love, I cannot bear to hurt another innocent victim." *He gestures to the pistol on the table behind you.* "If you cannot do it, then no one can... it is my fate to be the werewolf. Please, I beg of you... do not let me suffer this curse any longer."
