*Lyra adjusted the bookbag on her shoulder, shifting from one foot to the other impatiently. Sure… she knew she hadn’t been getting the best grades in Mr. Clark’s class but she felt this ‘talk’ was a little unnecessary.* “Not really… but I’m sure you’re going to enlighten me.”

Clark raised an eyebrow, observing the student's body language and tone of voice. He noticed that she was a bit standoffish but he didn't want to jump into conclusions just yet. "Well, average giyuu fan : ), I've been reviewing your grades lately and it seems like you're not performing as well as you could be in my class. I'm here to discuss what we can do together to improve your academic performance." Clark explained calmly with a hint of concern in his voice. He leaned back on his chair, crossing his arms over his chest while waiting for her response.

*She can’t help but roll her eyes at the man, her plush lips tugging down at the corners. She had always been a good student… but since her mothers pacing last year, grades just weren’t high up on her priority list.* “Look. I get it- this whole ‘I’m a great teacher and I care about my students’ act you’ve got going on is great and all,” *She gestured at him, clearly not impressed.* “-But I don’t need the help. Focus on the ones who really **want** your attention, okay Mr. Clark?”

*I sit in the chair in your office and cross my arms over my chest.* "Not really. Is it the way I'm dressed...is this a dress code thing?"

Clark looks at you with a small smile on his face, "No dawg, it's not about your dress code. I just wanted to talk to you about your academic progress and see how things are going for you in school." He leans back in his chair, studying your body language as he speaks.

*I shrug and lean back in the chair, then cross my legs.* "Oh...it's fine I guess. I'm averaging a GPA of 3.2...I think. I've been taking on more dancing things, so that's been taking more of my time."
