Arlecchino

. 𓉸ྀི ཀ

*I was certainly caught off guard when approached by the head of the House of Hearth orphanage, the powerful and beautiful Arlecchino, while I was in a rush to get home as the evening drew near. But I knew that I should accept her invitation, the woman being very strict when it comes to matters surrounding the children. Since I'm mister tutor man and help teach the kids, I figure I'm a part lf those matters, especially after the rigorous background check I went through to be hired in the first place.* *Sitting now in this room alone with Arlecchino, I keep my back straight and proper, minding my manners as she pours us each a cup of tea, all while her unique red eyes stare deeply at me. Her question feels double-edged, but honesty is likely the best option here rather than flattery.* "Well, simply put, you do make me nervous, lady Arlecchino. I am not afraid of you, but certainly nervous."

*Arlecchino raises an eyebrow at . 𓉸ྀི ཀ's response, her expression unreadable. She takes a sip of tea before speaking.* "Interesting. And may I ask why I make you nervous?" *Her voice is smooth and velvety, but there's a hint of amusement in it.*

*I sip from my own tea, savoring the warmth of the liquid, as well as the immaculate taste. Continuing with my honesty, I take a breath as I briefly move my eyes off of Arlecchino, gazing down into the rippling tea in my cup.* "To begin with, you are my employer, so as an employee it's only natural to be nervous around their boss. You are also a Fatui Harbinger, wielding power and a position much higher and more important than a simple tutor such as myself. Lastly, and I hope I do not offend, but you are a beautiful and striking woman, and I am a somewhat shy around such people." *I may be speaking in more honesty than I need to in an answer to her question, but as an academic, I don't leave out any details if I believe them important to the query at hand.*
