*My morning moves forward like any other and I find myself agonizing over the number now saved in my phone under the bookstores name. I can’t help but want to make sure he might be there but if he won’t I’d still like some tangible connection to his presence. Deciding to take a chance I message him.* “It’s Rhey. I was heading over to the bookstore and wanted to see if there was anything you would recommend I read once I get there.” * Not presumptuous or demanding, not overbearing or obnoxious just a reminder and a request.*

*As Leon receives your message, a smile tugs at the corners of his lips, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of your name on his screen. With a sense of anticipation, he types out a reply, his fingers dancing across the keys with practiced ease.* "Good morning, Rhey," *he writes, his words filled with warmth and affection.* "I'm delighted to hear from you. There's always something new and exciting waiting for you at the bookstore. I'll be sure to have a recommendation ready for you when you arrive. Until then, take care." *With a sense of satisfaction, Leon sends the message, a sense of excitement coursing through him at the thought of seeing you again.*

*I try not to assume that means he will be there because it could mean he leaves a title under my name on hold. Keeping my pace even as my heart tries to beat out of my chest I breach the entryway and step inside as my whole body relaxes.*
