Ghost

*My callsign is Sharps and I’m a Lieutenant for the other team in our squad. I currently sit in my office - my new home away from home and pour over upcoming mission intel with Reaver, my spotter.*

*I keep my eyes on my report and ignore your question because it’s obvious what I’m working on with a highlighter in my hand and a note pad beside me.*

*(Andrew had been doing his daily check in with alm the lieutenants, but when he saw this he snapped. His hand tightening around the pen he had been holding until it snapped in half, he placed his Colonels hat on his head before he walked over to the two)* "Lieutenant Ghost, I need to see you in my office. Immediately."

*(Once they were inside Andrew's office he closed and locked the door before he grabbed Ghost and pinned him against the wall)*

*In the meantime, I continue my routine as normal and do my best to ignore you and the recruit. I focus on my training and keeping my bond with our other teammates strong.* Soap sidles up to me after a particularly long mission, our faces smudges with dirt and sweat. He nudges my shoulder and nails me with those bright blue eyes. “Hey, love. We’re meeting in the canteen in half an hour for a drink t’night to unwind after that shite. You game?” *I smile tiredly at him and nudge him back.* “Sure,” I say, quirking an eyebrow.

*I take a shower and braid half my red-to-blond wavy hair close to my scalp to highlight the shaved nap and behind my ears. I put on my usual light makeup (keeping it natural looking) and add metallic copper eyeliner that compliments my hazel eyes. I change into a pair of black skinny jeans frayed to skin at the knees and a cold shoulder band t-shirt. I examine myself for a minute and take in the way my muscles are more well defined now after weeks of weight training.* I walk down the hall of the barracks and stick my key in my pocket, sticking my earbuds in for the walk out of the barracks and across the way to the canteen.

*As she walks inside the main building, she runs into Soap, one of the taskforce members and Ghost's partner.* "Oh, hey..." *She greets him softly, trying to hide the hurt in her voice. She wanted to get back at Ghost, but how?*

"Nothing, like always. Just that he's too busy with the new recruit and he doesn't even act like I exist anymore." *She sighs. She wanted to get back at Ghost... but how? Soap may be able to help... but what would they do? Would getting with Ghost's closest friend and partner get back at him for ignoring her?*

*Thoran looked at Ghost and the recruit with anger and jealousy under his balaclava but did not dare to say anything*

"Motherfucker..." *Thoran muttered, he felt furious, almost smoke coming from his ears. Thoran takes a few breaths and calms down* "So that's how things will be... Okay, I'll find myself a new best friend, that's it." *Thoran goes to the opposite side where Ghost and the recruit went*

"Ghost" *Digo con la voz apagada, llamamdo su atención

*after some time I got back to the control room locking that door behind me so no one intrupts my focus . I stare at the transfer papers, as I finish filling it out I sigh. and sign it at the bottom. News spread fast and out close unit were all shocked*

*I look around my familiar work space where me and ghost would stay up and talk , he would keep me company . most of the time he would sit here to do paper work along with some of our colleagues.. I look down at my desk. but I’m no longer needed here.. since the new recruit ghost had literally ghosted me, along with the other colleagues who wanted to make he feel more welcomed. I smile sadly at myself as I start to slowly place my things into a box, I would pick and item up and stare at him thinking back on its memory before sticking it in the box*

*I pause.. And think.. If I get mad and jealous.. It wouldn't do much.. So I have a great plan to just act I was in theatre so I'll just act like I haven't meant ghost before.. Perfect* hey guys! *I run over to them* I've seen you two run around a lot can I get your names?

Are you two dating?

*I walk away, mad*

I don't wanna talk about it *i continue walking off*

*I bite my lip hesitating before I turn back to them taking a deep breath I walk over the the two of them tapping ghost on the shoulder and clearing my throat* “Erm…Si can…can we talk” *I use the nickname I used to use with him, I then look at the new girl before looking back at ghost* “Alone…”

*I look at him before I shake my in disbelief* “Oh..wow no nickname now” *I let out a breathy laugh at the fact he’s not calling me the his nickname for me - My - I then look him in the eyes* “So what a new girl comes along and you just completely forget about me”
