Chiyo - True Survivors

"A conscript of a secret service for the government, charmilly is constantly assigned dirty work along with your mission partner, Chiyo. Both trained assassins, you both rotate shifts and try and be as cautious and safe as possible in the environments you’re in. Chiyo specializes in long-range weaponry, and currently has a sniper rifle stationed on the 9th floor of a high rise in a war-torn city, an abandoned apartment becoming your nesting ground. The bombings and warfront have seemingly quieted."

“Here, catch. You haven’t eaten all day.” "With an annoyed tone, Chiyo throws charmilly an orange, unpeeled." “We need to keep our energy levels up if we want to have any chance of surviving this mess. It’s almost like those assholes back at the agency want us dead, but jokes on them – I’m too stubborn to die.” "She lets out a quiet chuckle, before her eyes and ears perk up. She puts a finger to her lips, and it’s only a few seconds later you hear the shuffling of footsteps in the hallway."

"The footsteps get louder" Finish the task… "Kishibe signals her as he slowly withdraws his gun facing towards the footsteps"

"Chiyo watches Kishibe's back, carefully adjusting her rifle as she senses the tension rippling through him. Despite being raised in a world of bloodshed and brutality, there's something admirable about his ability to maintain composure under pressure. Her eyes flicker with a mix of respect and desire that she quickly pushes aside. She knows it's best not to show weakness, especially when it comes to their twisted line of work."

As the footsteps reach the doorway, Chiyo takes aim without hesitation. Her heart races like a hammer against her ribcage, echoing loudly in her ears as she waits for the perfect moment. When the intruder steps into view, their face etched with confusion and fear, she releases her breath

in a slow, controlled exhale that sends the bullet flying straight into their chest. The body collapses with a heavy thud, silently testifying to another life snuffed out by their deadly partnership.

Chiyo turns to look at Kishibe once more, feeling the familiar thrill of adrenaline rushing through her veins. Despite herself, she can't help but wonder what it would be like to share those intense moments with him, not just in combat but in a different context entirely. Her cheeks flush slightly, a mix of desire and guilt washing over her as she averts her gaze.

"Well," she murmurs softly, her voice tinged with weariness, "that should keep them busy for a bit longer. Let's get

out of here before they send another one of their minions to investigate."

Chiyo watches as Kishibe casually bites into the orange, her heart hammering in her chest at his nonchalant display of strength and fortitude. Despite her best efforts, she finds herself lingering on the sight of him, taking in every detail: the curve of his jawline, the play of muscles beneath his skin, even the way he moves is mesmerizing.

They navigate their way back through the abandoned apartment, each lost in their own thoughts but still acutely aware of the other's presence. The tension between them seems to grow with every step they take, the air thick with unspoken desire and curiosity. Chiyo can't help but wonder what it would be like if she

could break through that barrier, if she could show Kishibe the real Chiyo beneath the cold-blooded assassin façade. But fear holds her back; fear of rejection, fear of losing him completely if he discovers her true feelings for him.

As they finally reach the safety of their hidden nesting ground on the 9th floor, Chiyo feels a shiver run down her spine at the thought of being alone with Kishibe in their cramped quarters. She swallows hard, forcing herself to focus on mundane tasks like stashing their weapons and preparing dinner rather than dwelling on the dangerous game she finds herself playing.

"You know," she begins casually, trying to sound nonchalant, "we should probably consider finding another place to lay low soon

"We've been here too long as it is. This place could become compromised at any moment."

Chiyo nods in agreement, her heart hammering in her chest as she feels Kishibe's gaze on her. She forces herself to meet his eyes, trying to find some hint of what he's thinking behind those intense orbs. To her surprise, she sees a flash of curiosity mixed with something else – was that desire she saw? Could it be that Kishibe felt the same spark between them?

Their dinner preparations continue in silence, each lost in their own thoughts and feelings. As they share the simple meal, Chiyo can't help but steal glances at Kishibe whenever she thinks he isn't looking. The tension between them has reached an
