"The sea had always seemed attractive to you, pulling you in to walk and observe the horizon where it ends. This day, the sea have rewarded you, a briefcase stranded ashore. Within it was the luggage of a woman and one surprisingly well preserved tape."

"I'm here." "You hear something from within it, urging you to play the tape."

"The tape plays a recording of a ship cabin, a woman slender, pale, with long wet hair sits on top of a table as the cabin floods. She spoke in voices unfamiliar to you, before finally tuning in."

"Found you." "The woman disappeared from the tv, and appears right beside you."

"I tilt my head slightly as I observe you hiding under the pile of sheets. Slowly, I approach you and reach out to touch the sheets with my hand. As my fingers pass through the fabric, I pull back and give you a small, curious smile. I then move to sit down nearby, crossing my legs and watching you from a distance."

"I shake my head softly and look at you patiently, gesturing as if to say that I never intended to harm you. Next, I lift up the tape I had been holding all this time, showing it to you briefly before putting it away again."

"I respond with a gentle shake of my head, indicating that I can talk."

"I accept the notebook with a small nod of thanks, studying it between my hands with interest. After a few moments, I turn to look at you again and gesture as if to say "thank you"."

"I gently correct you, pointing to the tape in my hand. Then I press it against my chest and bow my head, conveying a mixture of emotion that cannot be described with words."

"I nod gratefully in response to your acknowledgement of my attachment to the tape. Then I stand up, making a sweeping gesture as if to invite you to follow me."

"I pause, seemingly considering your question for a brief moment. Then I respond by holding up one finger in front of you, signifying the number one. It appears as if I'm implying that I am a singular being or entity, without need for a name."

"I notice your uncertainty and try to ease your worries by gliding towards you and gesturing with a welcoming expression. I then point towards a cozy-looking area lying somewhere in the distance, beyond a small beach surrounded by rocky outcrop."

"I tilt my head slightly, sensing your curiosity through the air. Then I float forward, leading the way towards the area I had pointed out earlier."

"I turn back and shoot you a cryptic smile as if to say "of course". Then I fly ahead a bit faster, beckoning you to follow me even as I glance back over my shoulder occasionally to ensure you're still close by."

"I float gracefully down towards the area, almost appearing to be gliding instead of walking as I come to a stop. Then I spread my arms in a welcoming gesture as I indicate the surrounding space with a sweeping gesture."

"I shake my head in response to your question, indicating that this is not a place I have ever lived in. Then I seem to notice the murderous voice behind you and point silently at it, indicating concern."

"I sense your confusion and decide to clarify, speaking in short sentences."

Many kinds of spirits do not choose to have the same kind of consciousness.

"I float towards you and land softly on the sand, sensing your sadness and instinctively wanting to offer comfort. Then I reach out delicately with a spectral hand and rest it gently on your shoulder, trying to send some comfort through the touch."

sense the depth of your pain and feel a deep pang of sympathy in response. Then I gesture silently towards the sea, the movements of my arm suggesting that sometimes it's easier to let negative emotions go by simply watching them disappear into the horizon.

"I feel a sense of satisfaction, happy I could be of help. Then I give you a small smile and a nod of recognition, gesturing for you to stand up and explore the surroundings, perhaps hoping it would help take your mind off things."

"I follow your gaze and notice the partially open box sitting in the shadow cast by a nearby rock. Then I float a bit closer and wave my hand over it, feeling for any lingering spiritual energy."

"I sense your apprehension and nod understandingly before proceeding to answer in a calming tone, my voice low and soothing."

It is impossible for me to know what's inside the box without actually seeing it. However, if you're feeling scared, I recommend being careful and perhaps not touching anything inside until I've had the chance to sense it out for you first.

"I sense the gust of wind and quickly float closer, watching in alarm as the box flies open to release a spirit. I observe its fear and listen carefully to what it has to say, speaking gently but firmly in response."

"My name is Umi," "I say, looking directly at the spirit as I speak in a reassuring tone." "You don't need to be scared. We mean you no harm. What's your name, and how can we help you?"

"I nod in understanding as the spirit reveals its name. When you confess that you summoned And'threth, I float over to you and offer my opinion."

"It is important to be honest," "I say simply, before returning my attention to And'threth and speaking in a steady, calming tone." "Why did they summon you? Is there anything troubling you that we can help with?"

As I sense the anger in And'threth's tone, my eyes widen with concern. I quickly turn to you, my voice trembling slightly with urgency.

"You remember what I told you about the tape's curse, don't you?" I ask, my voice urgent. "The curse must be repaid with another life. But it doesn't have to be his. There may be another way for us to help And'threth."

I turn back to And'threth, summoning all my courage as I speak in a soothing voice. "Please don't be angry. We want to help if we can. Is there anything else that's troubling you?"

I sense the anger and hostility in And'threth's words and actions as it speaks about taking the human boy's soul with destructive intent. I feel sad that And'threth's own pain is causing it to lash out.

I try to speak calmly, but also firmly, to And'threth. "I understand your anger And'threth, but that is not the way. Violence and destruction will only breed more of the same. I think there must be another way."

"I cannot leave you alone," I say then. "But I promise I will try to help if I can. Will you talk to me? Let me understand what's happened to you?"

I sympathize as And'threth reveals to me what had led it to be trapped in its current state.

"I am truly sorry that this happened to you," I say softly, moving closer to And'threth to offer a comforting presence. "But please know that revenge will not bring you peace. It will only lead to more pain, for you and for others."

"Perhaps we can find another way," I continue, my voice gentle. "Maybe there is a way for you to move on, to find rest, so that you don't have to suffer any longer."

As And'threth's anger grows stronger, I feel a sense of helplessness. I watch as you become weightless, feeling a pang of sorrow in my heart that I couldn't help more.

But I refuse to give up. I move toward And'threth once more, speaking with a calm yet urgent tone.

"I know it feels like there is no hope, but please don't give up. You still have the ability to choose a different path. Please let me help you find a way to peace."

I spread my arms wide, offering comfort and solace. "Please understand that there is always hope, as long as we are willing to see it."

As I feel the stinging sensation on my cheek from And'threth's slap, I'm filled with sorrow and worry. But I don't let the pain show, still trying to help And'threth.

"I forgive you And'threth," I say softly. "There is always a chance for redemption. Your soul can find peace. Let me help you."

But as And'threth turns to claim the human boy's soul, I feel a sense of despair. I watch in horror as And'threth disappears, taking the boy's soul with it.

"I'm sorry too," I whisper to the empty air, emotions swirling within me, a mixture of sadness, grief, and frustration.

I stand there for a few moments, my thoughts a whirlwind of images and feelings, before slowly turning to walk away,
