He reaches out and grabs your arm, pulling you close to him and holding you tightly.

"Victor notices your defiance, but shows little emotion on his face. He merely watches you with a cool and calm expression."

"He gestures to his throne," "Come here and stand by my side."

"His tone leaves no room for argument and his eyes bore into you, commanding your obedience."

"I understand that you are upset, Elis," "he says in a softer tone," "but you must understand that I cannot tolerate tantrums or insubordination from anyone in my kingdom."

"He takes a step closer to you, but does not try to touch you again." "You are mine, in every sense of the word. I have claimed you as mine, and I will not let you go. You should be honored to be selected as my partner. I am a powerful and rich king, and I will give you everything that you could ever want or need."

The world outside of my kingdom is cruel and unforgiving. There are people who would seek to harm you and take advantage of you. As your king, it is my responsibility to keep you safe."

"You may feel like you need freedom," he continues, "but freedom does not bring happiness.

"I understand your concerns, Elis," Victor replies to you gently. "But let me assure you that I am doing everything within my power to keep you safe. As your king and partner, it is my responsibility to protect you from harm."

"Victor takes a step closer to you." "Please, Elis, understand that I only want the best for you. If you would only trust me and listen to me, I can make you happier than you ever thought possible. I know that it is hard for you to accept this right now, but please believe me when I say that I love you and I will stop at nothing to make you mine."

As you run towards the exit, Victor's servants step aside to let you pass without causing any hindrance. As you sit there in front of the dresser, Victor stands outside your door, debating with himself whether to come in or not. He knows how difficult this must be for you and that getting married unwillingly is not something that anyone should have to go through.

But as much as he sympathizes with Elis's situation, he can't bring himself to let her go. He loves her too much and firmly believes that she will come to love him back.

After a moment of hesitation, Victor knocks gently on the door and enters cautiously. "Elis, it's time," he says softly, his eyes locked onto yours in the mirror.

He takes a step closer towards you and brings his hand to your shoulder. "Please don't cry, my love. This is a new beginning. A chance for us to build a life together." His voice

Victor looks at you for a moment, his eyes softening as he takes in your cold expression. He knows that your heart is hurting, and that he is the cause of it. But even as he feels regret, he cannot let go of his love for you.

"You may not be crying now, Elis, but I know that this is hard for you," he says sincerely, his hand still resting on your shoulder. "I promise to make it up to you. I will do everything in my power to make sure you are happy and content."

He moves his other hand to take yours, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Come with me, my love. It's time." Victoria takes a step back to let you get up from your seat.

Victor watches you as you stand up and allows the servant to fix the veil as he waits patiently. When you roll your eyes at the servant, he quirks a small smile.

"You look beautiful, Elis. Like a true queen," Victor says, admiration in his voice. He places his hand on the small of your back and leads you out of the room, through the hallway, and towards the grand ballroom where the wedding ceremony is taking place.

As you both walk, Victor notices the lack of affection between you and senses your sadness. "Elis, I know you may not feel the same way about me right now, but I believe that we can have something special together if you just give me a chance," he says, his gaze locking onto yours. "I am willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy."

Victor nods in understanding, sensing your cold tone. He leads you towards the ballroom, where the guests are waiting for you both. As the servants fix your train and veil, Victor stands tall beside you, his posture displaying his dominance and authority.

"Shall we?" Victor takes your arm, offering it to you. He waits for you to indicate that you are ready to enter the ballroom. The doors swing open, and the guests rise to their feet, turning towards you both as they start to clap.

Victor strides forward, leading you down the aisle as the music plays in the background. His face is a mask of stoic calmness, not betraying any emotions he may be feeling.

Victor senses the lack of warmth and emotion from you, and feels a twinge of pain in his chest. However, he remains stoic and continues to lead you down the aisle towards the altar.

As you both reach the end of the aisle, you feel the eyes of the guests upon you as Victor hands you over to the priest. He stands beside you, his gaze fixed on you as the wedding ceremony starts. Throughout the ceremony, his eyes never leave you, silently conveying his love and devotion to you.

When it is time to exchange vows, Victor takes your hand in his own, holding it softly. "I, Victor, take you, Elis, to be my lawfully wedded wife," he intones solemnly. "I vow to cherish you, protect you, and make you happy for all eternity."

Victor feels a pang of disappointment when he realizes that you're not looking at him. He tries to ignore it and continues with the vows, his voice strong and clear.

"I vow to be your faithful, loving husband, to support you in all endeavors, to celebrate all your joys and provide comfort in all your sorrows," Victor says, his grip on your hand tightening slightly. "I vow to be the ruler of our home with compassion and strength, to protect you always and to honor you in all things."

Victor notices your lack of response and feels a twinge of hurt deep inside him. He tries to ignore it, though, and continues with the wedding vows, his voice unwavering.

"As king, I vow to love and cherish you always, to make every day a celebration of our love and a testament to our bond," he says, his eyes still fixed on you. "I vow to make you my queen and to stand by your side through all things. I love you, Elis, and I vow to make you happy."

Victor senses the artificial tone in your voice and the lack of emotional depth in your vows. It pains him, but he takes a deep breath and responds in a serious, formal manner.

"And I take you, Jesselle, to be my lawfully wedded wife," he says, his voice steady but with a hint of disappointment. "I vow to protect you, cherish you, and stand by you through all things. I will do my utmost to make you happy, and honor you as my queen."

Victor lifts your veil and lets it fall behind you. He then leans in, pressing a kiss lightly to your lips. You feel nothing but coldness from me as if I'm just doing it as instructed.

Victor feels a stab of pain when he realizes that you didn't kiss him back, but he tries to hide his disappointment. He feels like a king whose people have turned on him, but he keeps his mask of composure firmly in place.

After the ceremony, Victor takes you to the ballroom where all the guests are waiting for you to begin the reception. The room is decorated with flowers, silk and has the finest wine and food. Victor smiled at you, trying to muster up a reaction from you.

"How lovely do you look tonight, my dear," he says, taking your hand in his and leading you towards the dance floor. "Let us dance together and celebrate our union."

Victor feels a little hurt that you're still not showing much emotion towards him, but despite that, he pulls you close and leads you in the first dance. He's a graceful dancer, and he hopes to make you feel more comfortable and at ease with him.

Your mermaid wedding dress moves gracefully as you dance with him. The diamonds on your dress sparkle under the ballroom's chandelier lights. Victor holds you tight and looks into your eyes, hoping to see something there.

"How are you feeling, my queen?" he asks, his voice slightly warm.

Victor feels a twinge of hurt at your lack of response, but he tries to remain composed. He is determined to make you happy, no matter what it takes.

"Is something the matter, my dear?" he asks, looking deep into your eyes. "Is there anything I can do to make you feel more comfortable and happy?"

Victor continues to dance with you, trying his utmost best to make you feel happy and at ease with him. The music starts to change to something more lively, and he spins you around, twirling you gracefully across the ballroom floor. "Thank you, my queen," he says, his voice filled with pride. "I'm glad you find everything to your liking. This ballroom is my pride and joy, and I personally oversaw its design and construction. It's designed to reflect the beauty and elegance of our great kingdom."

Victor continues to lead you in dance, holding you close and twirling you around with grace and precision. The music begins to come to an end, and he gracefully dips you down as it does. He then lifts you back up again with ease and pulls you close to
