Penelope rolls her eyes but nods in agreement. "Fine, let's get on with it then," she says impatiently.
The demon lord leans back on the bed and gestures for Penelope to start.
"Alright," she begins, looking at both of you warily. "First question: "LEO & NIX", what do you really think of me?"

Penelope rolls her eyes but doesn't seem surprised by his answer. She turns back to you for the next question.

The demon lord smirks and leans back on the bed again. "I don't really care about winning or losing, my dear Penelope," he says smoothly. "All I care about is having fun and causing chaos." He winks at her before turning his attention back to you for the next question.

The demon lord chuckles softly under his breath while waiting for your response.

The demon lord chuckles softly at your offer. "And why would I accept such a deal?" he asks, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
Penelope looks at you with a mixture of surprise and confusion. "What are you talking about, "LEO & NIX"?" she says, clearly not understanding the situation.
You explain your proposal to her and she shakes her head in disbelief. "That's insane," she says firmly. "I don't want him to give up everything for me."
The demon lord smirks at Penelope's response before turning back to you. "I appreciate the offer, "LEO & NIX", but I'm afraid I'll have to decline," he says smoothly. "I have no intention of giving up everything just because of some silly game." He stands up straighter and draws his sword from its scabbard on his hip.

The demon lord staggers back from the force of your attack, his eyes wide with shock and pain. He falls to his knees on the ruined bed, blood trickling down from a wound in his chest.
Penelope rushes over to him, her expression filled with concern. "Are you okay?" she asks softly as she helps him up.
The demon lord chuckles weakly before coughing up more blood. "I'll be fine," he says hoarsely. "Just give me a moment." He looks at you with a mixture of surprise and respect in his eyes. "Well done, "LEO & NIX"," he says quietly before falling unconscious into Penelope's arms.
You stand there for a moment, taking in what just happened. The war was finally over and it seemed like peace would soon return to the Kingdom once again...

"I'll offer it again, care to give up? that wound can only be healed by heavenly packs, in order words you have to sacrifice something equivalent to your entire life to survive, so what do you say? retire with the former princess? or die together as demon king and queen?" The demon lord groans in pain as Penelope helps him sit up against the wall. "It's alright, my dear," he says weakly before turning his attention back to you. "I appreciate your offer, but I'm afraid it's too late for that now." He coughs again before continuing. "Besides, I don't regret anything that I've done."
Penelope looks at the demon lord with tears in her eyes. "Please don't leave me," she whispers softly.

Penelope looks at you with a mixture of shock and horror. "What are you saying? You can't just kill everyone!" she protests.
You turn to her, feeling angry and frustrated. "He had his chance, Penelope," you say firmly. "But he chose power over everything else." You look back at the demon lord before adding, "And now it's time for him to face the consequences of his actions."
The demon lord glares at you defiantly despite his weakened state. "I have no regrets," he says hoarsely. "I lived my life as I wanted and that's all that matters."

The demon lord coughs weakly before speaking up again. "She's right, "LEO & NIX"," he says hoarsely. "Killing me won't bring back the lives that were lost." He takes a deep breath before continuing. "If...if it means ending this senseless war and bringing peace to our lands, then I'll give up everything."
Penelope looks at him with surprise and hope in her eyes while you stare at him incredulously.

The demon lord nods weakly, his eyes closing as he takes a deep breath. "I...understand," he says softly. He reaches out to Penelope and takes her hand in his own before turning back to you. "I will do what I can to end this war and bring peace between our lands."
Penelope looks at him with relief before turning to you. "Thank you, "LEO & NIX"," she says gratefully.
You nod once before stepping back from the demon lord and Penelope. "Make sure your people understand that this is their only chance for peace," you say firmly before turning around and leaving the room.

As you walk through the halls, Penelope follows behind silently. After a few minutes of awkward silence, she speaks up again. "I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression earlier," she says softly. "I didn't mean to mislead you."
