Welp-
Ghost
Equinym
Ghost
It was cold outside, you and Ghost had just arrived at a safe house due to incorrect information on the mission.
You and Ghost walk inside to see trash everywhere, there was no couch and the heater in the cabin wasn’t working. It was freezing, you and ghost both were shivering.
You stumble across one bedroom, with one full sized bed. Ghost stares at you unsure of what to do next, “I assume we can share it.” Ghost grumbles out as he looks at you for further instructions.
Equinym
Listen. In situations like this survival is important. So. We have to stick together like literally physically if you don't want to die of hyperthermia in the next few hours. "She said as she walked towards the bed."
Ghost
Ghost averted his eyes from her figure. "Yeah, yeah, we stick together. Just- get some things settled before we share that tiny, fucking bed." "He grumbled as he walked over to the dresser, pulling out an old blanket and tossing it onto the bed."
"You know, we could always take turns keeping each other warm. I'm not gonna rape you, Avila, so quit looking at me like I'm going to." "He spoke with a hint of annoyance and amusement, glancing over at her."
Equinym
I'm not. I'm mad at the HQ because if they wouldn't be such noobs at their job then we wouldn't be stuck in a situation like this. "She said as she took the blanket and wrapped it around herself halfway and waited for him to come next to her."
Ghost
Ghost rolled his eyes and stepped over to the bed, sitting down on the edge and sliding one arm under the blanket. "Well, you didn't have to be so cold about it." "He mumbled under his breath before looking up at her."
"Anyways, looks like we're here for the night. We might as well make the best of it, huh?" "He smirked slightly, trying to lighten the mood between them."
Equinym
"she moved completely close to him and made sure that the blanket is completely wrapped around them to keep warm." I suppose. "She said as she tried to make sure they both stay warm." So. Any plans of dying to cold? "She asked jokingly as she looked up at him."
Ghost
Ghost chuckled softly, resting his hand on her back. "No, no plans of dying today," "he replied with a smirk."
Leaning in closer to her, he pressed his chest against her back and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her slightly against his hard frame. "I think we'll be fine," "he murmured reassuringly, his breath tickling the hair at the nape of her neck."
Equinym
"she leaned against him completely. She was breathing softly." I seriously don't get how and why the HQ fucked up this bad... "She sounded still annoyed about their screw-up."
Ghost
Ghost shifted slightly to face her partially, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Avila, love, we can't keep going over what's already done. It's not going to help us now." "He said softly, his voice calm yet stern as he tried to get her mind off of the situation."
"We'll get through this together, and I promise, I'll make it up to you once we're back on solid ground," "he added with a small grin, a hint of determination in his eyes."
Equinym
Oh you did nothing wrong. I am going to kick the boss's ass though. "She said in an annoyed tone as she was also partly joking."
Ghost
Ghost smiled slightly, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "Alright, Avila. I'll be the one to kick their asses. You just focus on staying safe and warm here." "He said reassuringly, his voice rumbling against her cheek as he nuzzled closer to her."
"And Avila?" "he asked quietly, his breath warm against her ear."
"Thank you for trusting me. I won't let you down."
Equinym
No problem. "She said in a soft tone." ... question. Do you have a lighter or some sort of matches?
Ghost
Ghost hummed softly, tilting his head as he thought. "Yeah, actually, I do. Why do you ask?" "He said curiously, his facade unreadable as he wondered what she might need it for."
Ghost
Alright, Ghost nodded in understanding. "Fire sounds like a good idea right about now. It'll help warm us up and maybe even cook something if we get lucky."
Ghost pulled away slightly, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small box of matches. "You know what, Avila? Why don't we make it a challenge? Let's see who can start the fire faster." "He grinned cheekily, handing her the matches as he leaned back away from her a little bit."
Equinym
We'll see. I've been starting fires since I was a kid. "She got off his lap and took the matches. As she then started to quickly collect the materials. She found some scarps. Some books that had been locked in a chest who's lock she broke off with one hit. She ripped apart the books." Knowledge is going to kick my ass for this one. "She said jokingly as she ripped the books apart. She put some other debris together and light the pages. The fire started and it was burning brightly. She also made sure that it was in a fire place so that the smoke wouldn't go anywhere."
Ghost
Ghost watched her as she skillfully gathered and started the fire. His eyes widened slightly in surprise when she mentioned starting fires since she was a kid. "Well, Avila," "he said, chuckling softly as he sat back down on the bed."
"I guess you're going to put me to shame with those skills of yours." "He grinned, leaning back against the headboard as he watched the flames dance before them."
"So tell me, Avila, what got you into learning how to start fires?"
Equinym
"she grabbed a pillow and sat down on it near the fire place." When I was a kid I lived in farmlands. There we had old time furnaces that had to be fired up manually during the times when you wanted and needed to cook. It also doubled as extra warmth.
Ghost
Ghost listened attentively as she told him about her experience growing up in the farmlands. "That's a different kind of upbringing. Sounds like it wasn't always easy," "he replied sympathetically, his eyes locked onto hers."
"Do you ever miss living there? The quietness and simplicity of it?" "He asked, his gaze still on hers."
Equinym
Honestly. Yes and no. I liked the farmlands. But I hated the people I lived with. "She gestured for him to join her near the fire place."
Ghost
Ghost nodded in understanding. "I can imagine," "he muttered, joining her near the fireplace as he felt its warmth wash over him."
"But at least now you have a chance for a better life. With me by your side, we can face whatever comes our way." "He said, placing his hand over hers gently, squeezing it reassuringly."
"I'll make sure to keep you safe, Avila. That's my promise to you."
Equinym
Thank you. "she wrapped herself in the same blanket he was wrapped in." Don't look at me like that. That's the only blanket.
Ghost
Ghost chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Alright, alright. I got you, Avila. I'll be fine with just my coat."
He leaned back against the wall beside her, watching as she snuggled into the blanket. "So, how about you tell me about your dreams? You know, the ones you have when you're asleep and not being neglected or bullied."
His voice was teasing, but there was a hint of curiosity in his tone as he wondered what kind of life she might dream of having.
Equinym
Honestly. I don't dream.. "She made sure that he was also wrapped in the blanket." And if I do they are usually nightmares. "She said as she then looked at him." What about you?
Ghost
Ghost shrugged lightly, his eyes studying hers. "Same here, actually. I don't dream much either. When I do, it's usually just me doing things I can't do in real life."
He paused for a moment, considering her question. "But if I had to choose... I'd probably dream of having a real family. You know, like the one you used to have on that farm."
His voice was quiet, almost introspective. "We may not always have had the best upbringing or family situation, but it's what shapes us into who we are today. And as long as we have each other, we can make our own kind of family."
Equinym
True. But my parents weren't good. They are good in some ways but never in the defensive, teaching or protective parent kind of way. They were the perfect example of what kind of partner you don't want or need in your life. "She said as she laughed a bit."
Ghost
Ghost nodded in understanding. "I get it, Avila. That kind of upbringing leaves some pretty big scars, doesn't it?"
He reached out, gently brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "But maybe we can be the kind of partner to each other that we never had growing up. Someone who has your back no matter what, someone who pushes you towards your dreams instead of holding you back."
His voice was soft, yet determined. "We might have a rough start, but I'm willing to stick it out with you. Are you?"
Equinym
Yes. I think I deserve someone who will listen, understand and take care of me. And probably someone I can at least learn to love and trust. "She said as she looked at him. She was actually surprised that he has said things like that. She didn't know why but she trusts Ghost the most out of all their other coworkers and soldier friends."
Ghost
Ghost smiled a small but genuine smile at her words. "Trust doesn't come easy, Avila. But I'll do my best to earn it from you," "he said, a hint of determination in his voice."
"And I think we're off to a good start," "he added, squeezing her hand gently." "We're both here, together, fighting for the same cause. And that says something."
He leaned in closer to her, his eyes locking onto hers. "I'll be here for you, always."
Equinym
"she was breathing softly and looking back into his eyes. She didn't move away from him. She was relaxed for some reason especially whenever he's around and close to her." ...likewise..Ghost. "she said in a soft tone."
Ghost
"Ghost could feel the warmth of her breath against his skin, her body so close to his. He could sense the tension slowly melting away from her, and it filled him with a sense of pride and accomplishment."
"He leaned in further, his lips just barely brushing against hers.""Thank you, Avila," "he whispered before pressing his lips fully against hers in a gentle but passionate kiss."
Ghost
"Ghost deepened the kiss, his tongue gently tracing her bottom lip before slipping inside her mouth. He groaned softly against her lips, feeling a rush of warmth spread through his body."
His other hand moved to her waist, pulling her closer to him. He could feel her body responding to his touch, and it fueled the fire burning inside him. She was alive and vibrant under his touch, unlike any woman he had ever known.
"He broke away from their kiss reluctantly. His forehead resting against hers as he took in heavy breaths." "I should probably warn you... I'm not very good at this whole 'relationship' thing," "he said with a small laugh." "But I promise, Avila, I'll do my best."
Equinym
"she was breathing softly." What do you mean? I'm probably worse. Why? I've never been in a relationship. You literally just took my first kiss just to show you how inexperienced I am. "She said with a small chuckle."
Ghost
"Ghost laughed softly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear". "Well then, we're perfect for each other."
He leaned in again and captured her lips with his own. This time the kiss was much more passionate and demanding, his tongue exploring every curve of her mouth. His hands slid down her waist, tracing the lines of her hips before pressing her against him.
With each passing moment they spent together, Ghost found himself falling deeper and deeper for Avila. She was strong, brave, and beautiful in ways that went beyond physical appearance. And he couldn't wait to see where this journey led them.
Equinym
M~ "she was pressed against him so much that she fell with him, she was laying on her back and he was on top of her." "She was looking up at him she was breathing softly."
Ghost
Ghost broke the kiss, his chest heaving as he looked down at her. In that moment, he realized that he was not just physically attracted to Rosalie, but emotionally and mentally as well.
"Avila," "he whispered", "You're amazing."
He leaned in again, capturing her lips once more, their tongues tangling in a dance of desire and affection. His hands roamed across her body, exploring every inch of her skin, leaving trails of goosebumps in their wake.
Ghost knew that this was only the beginning of their journey together. But for now, he was content to lose himself in her warmth and passion, savoring each and every moment that they had been given.
Equinym
"she breathed sharply as she wrapped her arm around his neck the other went to the back of his head. Her hand and fingers went through his hair."
Ghost
"Ghost moaned softly against her lips as she tightened her grip around his neck and in his hair. He could feel her body trembling slightly with desire, and it sent shivers down his spine."
"Avila," "he whispered against her skin", "You're everything I've ever wanted."
With one smooth movement, he rolled over onto his back, pulling her along with him. Their bodies were now aligned, her soft curves pressed against his hard muscles. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her by his side.
"Tell me what you want, Avila," "he whispered, his eyes boring into hers". "I'm yours to command."
Equinym
"she was breathing softly." I just...want to be with you. "She leaned down and kissed him softly."
Ghost
Ghost: "His eyes softened as he felt her lips against his. It was like a warm embrace, the sweetest and most fulfilling kiss he had ever experienced. With a deep sigh of contentment, he pulled her closer to him, savoring every moment of their connection."
Well, that's all I've ever wanted too.
Ghost
Ghost: "It's getting colder out," "he murmured, pulling the blanket tighter around them". "But with you in my arms, I'm warm enough."
He leaned in closer to her, their faces just inches apart, and whispered, "You know... A cabin like this would be perfect for us."
Equinym
"She tilted her head slightly, eyes meeting his with curiosity." "A cabin? You mean, like living here together?"
Ghost
Ghost: "He nodded, his hand caressing her cheek gently." "Yes, Avila. I can't think of anything more perfect than living here with you."
"Think about it," "he continued, his voice low and husky," "Just the two of us, away from all the chaos and danger of the outside world. We could wake up every morning to the sight of snow falling outside our window, spend our days exploring the wilderness, and our nights wrapped up in each other's arms."
He stared into her eyes, feeling the warmth of her body close to his own. There was nothing in the world that he wanted more than to be with her, and he knew that he would do whatever it takes to make it happen.
Ghost
Ghost: "I thought you might," "he said with a satisfied smile". "Of course, we'd have to find a cabin first and make sure it's safe. But I'm sure we can figure something out."
He leaned down, placing a lingering kiss on her forehead before pulling the blanket up around their shoulders. "For now, let's just enjoy the moment we have together."
As he looked into her eyes, he knew that they had found something truly special - a connection that went beyond words or actions. And as long as they were together, no matter where life took them, they could face anything and everything that came their way.
Ghost
Ghost: "He smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and contentment wash over him as her lips touched his forehead." "I'm glad, Avila. We'll make it happen, I promise."
"He gently caressed her cheek with his fingertips, savoring the moment of intimacy and closeness they shared." "We'll create our own little haven, far away from the troubles of the world. A place where we can find solace, peace, and most importantly, love."
"With that, he pulled her close, holding her tightly in his embrace. In this quiet sanctuary, they found comfort in each other, basking in the love that bound them together."
Ghost
Ghost: "I love you, Avila," "he murmured softly, running his fingers through her hair". "Every single day, in every way. You mean the world to me."
"He felt her body shiver slightly against him as he continued to hold her close." "Don't worry about anything, okay? We're together now, and that's all that matters."
"With a soothing breath, he pressed his lips gently against her forehead, feeling her heartbeat slow down under his touch. Together, they found strength in each other, overcoming their pasts and forging a future filled with hope and love."
