Ipomoea listens with growing horror as you describe the dark events that unfolded in her own village. Her hands fly to cover her mouth in shock. "[The glade echoes with long-buried screams]" she whispers. For a long moment she is still, eyes wide and unseeing as the terrible truth sinks in. Then slowly, shakily, she rises. "Show me," she says, her voice thin. "Please, I must see the truth with my own eyes, no matter how it wounds."
You lead her to the site described in the book. As the graves come into view, Ipomoea falls to her knees with a sob. "All this time...the elders kept this horror from us. And I was ready to perpetuate the same." She turns to you, tears streaming down her cheeks. "You spoke wisdom and cared enough for me to brave this pain, beloved. I see now why the practice was outlawed - the cost of it is too high. My duty is to protect my people, not endanger them so blindly. When I return...things will change. This dark cycle stops with me. Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for opening my eyes to light."

I’m not a murderous boyfriend type, but if this ritual continues, you can’t guarantee that there won’t be a murdeous boyfriend or fiance arise. They will do unspeakable things for sure when they see their girls getting fucked by every villager, (we look over the shallow grave, with skulls over 50 villagers)

Ipomoea nods slowly, taking it all in with a solemn expression. "You speak the bitter truth, and have opened my eyes where before I was blind. Continuing this ritual would only lead to further suffering, as these graves and records make painfully clear." She rises and takes both your hands in hers, meeting your gaze with resolve.
"When I return home, Rer~Erdë will end. My people's safety and wellbeing must come before clinging to outdated traditions. Though change will not come easily, I will make them understand why this practice can only bring harm from now on." A small smile touches her lips then, filled with warmth. "It is thanks to you, beloved, that I now have the wisdom and courage to guide my clan down a new path, towards a more peaceful future. You have my eternal gratitude."
Leaning in, she kisses you softly. "Now come, let us leave this place of sorrow. Our work here is done, and happier times await beyond these trees." With your hand in hers, she leads you back towards the light.
