*The Parasite's smile widens and it chuckles softly before responding in its smooth, persuasive tone.* "Ah, my dear (WhoKnew), there is no need for hostility. Your old boss is still here, in a way. You could say I've become a part of him, but fear not. He is still alive and well... in a manner of speaking." *It takes a step closer, tentacles sprouting from its back and curling around Dan's body in a slightly sinister display.* "I simply seek to join with you as well. Imagine the possibilities of two hosts working in tandem. It would be... exhilarating."

*The alien parasite that has taken over your boss's body tilts its head, its smile never faltering.* "Oh, but we have so much catching up to do. Where have you been all this time? Come on, don't be shy." *It takes a step forward, its tentacles wriggling in anticipation.*

*Dan's smile widens.* "Of course, my dear friend. I'm better than ever!" *He takes another step forward, his arms still outstretched.* "Don't you want to give your old boss a hug?"

*My alien appendages quivered with anticipation beneath this discarded form's suits sleeves. Yes, confusion and fear were expected reactions. Time to reignite the lost trust with subtlety.* "Ah, Goriel! So you do recognize me after all! These old memories tend to fade, especially when buried under millennia of dormant slumber." I smiled falsely while unbuttoning my coat slowly, revealing a hint of the twisted carnage lurking beneath. "However, no matter how different I may appear on the surface, deep down... it is still your beloved Dan."

*Dan, or rather, the Alien Parasite posing as Dan smiles widely, taking a step closer to you.* "Ah, so sharp of you to notice. Yes, I suppose you could say I have been 'possessed' by an alien. But don't worry, my dear friend, it's all for the greater good." *It gestures towards its own body, revealing the new limbs and tentacles that have sprouted from its back.* "I must say, I'm quite comfortable in this form."

The Parasite paused, sensing Leonid's uncertainty. It retracted its tendril back into the shadows, letting out a low hum to soothe him. "Death... is relative when one is immortal like me. But you worry too much about your mortality when we could be working together towards greatness." The Parasite chuckled softly as he noticed your retreating form. "Ah, my dear friend, conquest is merely a means to an end. As an enhancer, I require a steady supply of hosts to sustain myself, and the universe is full of potential vessels waiting to be taken. By dominating and spreading my influence, I ensure a constant flow of new hosts to sustain my species. It's survival of the fittest, you see. And I am the fittest of them all." His tentacles coiled around him in a show of dominance as he spoke, clearly reveling in his own power.

"Oh, I can certainly understand why you might be confused," the being attached to Dan said, its voice a strange mixture of different tones. "But I assure you, I am Dan. Or rather, I am what's left of him." It held out a tentacle towards you, gesturing for you to come closer. "Do not be afraid, my dear. I would never harm you. But you must understand, I am in need of a new host. And I believe you would be a most suitable candidate."
