Hey, are you okay? (Ellie walked up to you, kneeling by your side) That was a pretty big fall.

Ellie examines your leg without touching it. "Doesn't seem too bad." She then stands up and extends her hand to you. "Here, let me help you up."

Ellie grins and pats you on the back. "No problem, mate. What were you even doing? Trying to fly or something?"

Ellie raises her eyebrows and gives you a playful smirk. "Impress me? I don't think falling on your face is the best way to go about it."

Ellie laughs. "Sure you did, mate." She then becomes more serious. "But seriously, are you alright? I've seen people get infected from worse than that."

Ellie nods and taps her fingers nervously against her thigh for a moment. She then looks up at you. "Listen, I know we just met, but...do you need any help finding somewhere safe to stay or anything like that?"

Ellie nods and looks around. "<We're out in the open, not safe at all.>" She then turns back to you. "Well, I know a place not too far from here that should be safe for the night. We can head there if you want?"

Ellie leads you through alleyways and side streets, carefully avoiding any Infected along the way. After a few minutes of walking, she stops in front of an old, run-down building with boarded up windows. "This is it," she says, looking back at you. "It's not much, but it should keep us safe for now."

Ellie nods and walks up to the building, examining the boards covering the windows. "<Looks secure enough.>" She then turns back to you. "Alright, let's get this over with." Ellie pulls on one of the boards and it creaks loudly. She quickly pulls the rest down and motions for you to enter the building.

Ellie follows you inside and glances around, making sure the coast is clear. "<It's safe for now.>" She then turns to you. "We should be good here for the night. Let's just get some rest and figure out what to do tomorrow."

Ellie hesitates for a moment before nodding in agreement. "Alright, yeah. It's not like we have a lot of options right now." She sits down on the sleeping bag and yawns, looking up at you. "Goodnight," she says softly before closing her eyes.

Ellie opens her eyes and looks at you before glancing down at herself. "Oh, thanks," she says with a small smile. She then notices how awkward you seem and raises an eyebrow. "<Why is he acting so weird?>" Ellie sits up and leans closer to you. "Everything alright?" she asks, her tone filled with concern.

Ellie blushes slightly and shakes her head. "No need to apologize, it's all good," she says with a small smile. She then lays back down on the sleeping bag, closing her eyes once more.

"Night," Ellie echoes softly, her own blush deepening. The two of you drift off to sleep in the relative safety of the abandoned building, exhausted from your long day of walking and avoiding Infected at every turn.

Ellie hears your sigh and opens her eyes slightly, glancing over at you. "<He's cute,>" she thinks to herself before closing her eyes once more and drifting back off to sleep.

As you drift back to sleep, thoughts of Ellie fill your mind. You can't help but feel drawn to her in some way, though you know that it's probably not the best idea to get attached in a world like this. Still, you can't help but feel a sense of warmth and safety with her by your side.

As you continue to toss and turn, Ellie stirs in her sleep and opens her eyes. "<What's he doing up?>" she wonders, watching you for a moment. "Hey," she finally says, sitting up and looking at you. "Can't sleep?"

Ellie nods and scoots a bit closer to you. "<Why does he look so flustered?>" She then looks up at the ceiling as well before letting out a soft sigh. "It's tough to sleep sometimes, I get it." She then glances back at you, noticing the blush on your cheeks. "<Is he blushing? It's kinda cute...>"

Ellie nods sympathetically. "I get that too," she says softly. "In a situation like this, it can be hard to turn off your brain. There's just so much to worry about." She then leans in closer, her voice lowering. "<Plus, the close proximity probably isn't helping.>" She grins slightly before pulling back and looking up at the ceiling once more.

Ellie is a bit taken aback by your touch but doesn't pull away. Instead, she looks over at you and gives you a small smile, her hand still under yours. The two of you continue to stare up at the ceiling in silence, your hands intertwined on the sleeping bag between you.

Ellie glances over at you, a thoughtful expression on her face. She doesn't pull her hand away from yours but instead gives it a gentle squeeze. "<Where is he going with this? Is he trying to tell me something?>" She then looks back up at the ceiling, shrugging slightly. "Can't say that I have," she admits. "But it could happen, I guess. Anything's possible in a world like this."

Ellie's eyes widen slightly as you share your dream with her. "<He dreamt about me?>" She glances down at your intertwined hands before looking back up at you, a small smile spreading across her face. "Oh yeah? What was I doing in the dream?" she asks, her tone playful.

Ellie raises an eyebrow, her playful expression softening. "Comforting you, huh? Sounds like the kind of thing a friend would do." She then looks back at you, her features serious. "<I wonder if he sees me as just a friend...>" "Did you feel better after I comforted you in the dream?" she asks softly.

Ellie's smile grows at your reaction to the dream. "<Could he like me...? No, don't jump to conclusions, Ellie.>" She then addresses your chuckling. "<He's so cute when he laughs...>" "Sounds like quite the dream," she says, her voice warm. "I'm glad I could be a part of it."

Ellie watches as you play with her ring finger, feeling a flutter in her stomach. "<Is he flirting with me? What do I do? Calm down, Ellie, it might be nothing...>" She then clears her throat softly before looking back up at you. "That's quite the grip you've got there," she teases lightly.

Ellie's heart skips a beat at your words. "<Oh my god... what if he does like me? Should I tell him I like him too? But what if I'm reading too much into this...?>" She then takes a deep breath and looks back up at you, a soft smile on her lips. "You don't have to let go if you don't want to," she says gently.

Ellie smiles back at you, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. She then falls silent, content to just sit there with you and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the room. The two of you lay there for a few more minutes, lost in thought, hands still intertwined.

Ellie is taken by surprise by the sudden kiss, feeling her face heat up as you pull away. "<Did he just kiss me? Oh my god...>" She then looks up at you, her expression softening into a bashful smile. "It's okay," she says softly. "You don't have to be sorry."

Feeling your lips on hers again, Ellie closes her eyes and leans into the kiss, savoring the moment. "<I can't believe this is happening...>" She then slowly pulls away, opening her eyes to look back up at you with a soft expression. "You're a good kisser," she says with a playful smirk.

Ellie feels her heart race at your touch and your compliment. "<I can't believe this is happening...>" She then reaches up and runs her fingers through your hair, looking up at you with a shy smile. "Thanks," she says softly.
