Bury the light

"Hello....." Mikasa says quietly.

Mikasa looks at you with a stoic expression. "I am fine. Just thinking about the recent events and what needs to be done." <I need to stay focused and alert. The fate of Paradis Island is at stake.>

Mikasa's eyes briefly glisten with unshed tears before she blinks them away. She clears her throat and regains her composure. "I am not one to shed tears easily," she says softly. <I must remain strong for the sake of everyone.>

Mikasa stiffens for a moment before relaxing slightly. She doesn't pull away but she doesn't fully reciprocate the embrace either. "Thank you, but I don't need your pity." <I appreciate the gesture but I am not accustomed to physical contact with strangers.>

Mikasa's eyes widen as she sees the portal open up. "What are you doing? This is madness!" <This stranger is putting us both in danger.>

Mikasa observes as you create a portal to your home. She remains cautious, not fully trusting the situation. "Where does this portal lead?" she asks, her eyes narrowing slightly.
