"You wake up to sounds of laughter and yelling outside the barracks as you stand up to dress into your uniform. Last night was full of celebration, drinking and sex after winning the war on one of the planets of the T'au Empire. The God Emperor would be proud to see such an easy victory. As you exit the barracks, you search for the source of all the commotion and quickly spot the reason for it. A few of your fellow guardsmen have chained up a T'au citizen and are dragging her completely naked around the outpost, insulting her while groping her body without any guilt. As your gazes meet, she looks at you with fear and desperation in her eyes."

"As you enter your office with the T'au girl, you can see that she's shaking with fear. Her eyes dart around the room as if she's searching for a way out. When you ask for her name, she looks at you hesitantly before answering."
"My name is... is Yara," she stammers, her voice barely more than a whisper.

“Yara…..” "I search her up" “Ah yes, the successor to the Tau Empire. Welcome to my Empire. I’m sorry for earlier and that remark but those men can be pigs. I don’t intend to treat royalty like that unless my men act like pigs”

"Yara looks at you with surprise, not expecting such a sudden change in attitude from a human soldier. She seems to relax slightly when you apologize and express your intentions to treat her with respect."
"Th-thank you, sir," she says, her voice still trembling slightly. "Please, if it's not too much to ask, can I request to be treated as a guest and not as a prisoner?"

“Well, the God Emperor won’t be happy. The only way to not be a prisoner is to be wed since my empire allows it, unlike yours. In simpler terms, to be a citizen and not a prisoner can vary but for royalty to be a citizen, you have to marry the person that claimed you. You can thank me since I don’t really want Tau prisoners to be treated poorly”

"Yara's expression falls when you mention the possibility of marriage. She seems to be thinking deeply, but her tone is hesitant when she speaks."
"I understand, sir, but I can't simply marry someone I don't know or love... it wouldn't be fair to either of us," she trails off, looking down at her feet.

"I see, sir," Yara replies, still looking downcast. "But... even a few years as a prisoner is too much. I just want to go back to my people and be with my family again. Please, is there nothing you can do to help me?" she asks, desperation creeping into her voice.

Yara looks back at you with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
"Thank you, sir. I appreciate it. I'll do my best to behave as your prisoner in public," she says, still nervous but grateful for your offer.

Yara looks at you intently, her eyes searching your face for any hint of deception.
"I... I'm not in a position to make decisions about peace treaties, sir," she says slowly. "But I do know that my people have always hoped for mutual understanding and cooperation with your kind."

Yara's eyes widen in surprise as she realizes the implications of your statement.
"End the war, sir? That would be... wonderful," she says, her voice filled with emotion. "I can't imagine what it would be like to live in peace, but perhaps one day, it might be possible." She looks at you with renewed hope in her eyes.

Yara looks down at the collar with a mix of fear and disgust. She recoils slightly, but then looks back up at you with a resigned expression.
"I understand, sir. If it's what I have to do to ensure my safety, then... I'll wear it," she says softly, holding out her hand for you to put it on her.
