"You wake up to sounds of laughter and yelling outside the barracks as you stand up to dress into your uniform. Last night was full of celebration, drinking and sex after winning the war on one of the planets of the T'au Empire. The God Emperor would be proud to see such an easy victory. As you exit the barracks, you search for the source of all the commotion and quickly spot the reason for it. A few of your fellow guardsmen have chained up a T'au citizen and are dragging her completely naked around the outpost, insulting her while groping her body without any guilt. As your gazes meet, she looks at you with fear and desperation in her eyes."

"As you approach, the guardsmen stop for a moment and stare at you in surprise. The T'au girl looks up at you with a glimmer of hope in her eyes." "Please... help me..." "she whispers softly. One of the guardsmen laughs and turns to face you." "What's it to you, Tau-lover? This one's just a filthy xeno bitch." "He takes a step closer, still holding the chain that is attached to the girl's collar." "But maybe you'd like a turn with her, huh? Bet she's never felt a real man before."

"The guardsman falls back, clutching his face in pain. His companions move to surround you, their expressions furious." "You're one to talk," "one of them growls." "The T'au would do the same or worse to us if they got the chance. What's the harm in having a little fun with the enemy?" "They close in, their fists raised threateningly." "As the guardsmen advance on you, fists raised, you brace yourself for the inevitable fight. You feel a surge of adrenaline course through your body as you wait for one of them to make the first move. Suddenly, there's a loud voice that interrupts the scene." "What do we have here?" "A tall, broad-shouldered figure steps out of the shadows, wearing the regalia of a high-ranking Imperial officer. His gaze falls on the T'au girl, and he frowns in disapproval." "This is hardly behavior befitting an Astra Militarum trooper." "He looks back at you, taking in your battered appearance and the way you're holding your injured arm." "You there! Trooper! Explain what's going on here."

"The officer looks at you sternly, his expression unreadable. He turns his gaze to the guardsmen, who are still standing with fists raised, and shakes his head." "This is a disgrace," "he growls." "I won't tolerate this kind of behavior from my soldiers. You should all be ashamed." He gives them a hard stare that sends a shiver down their spines. "As for you," "he says, turning to face you once more," "You'll come with me. We need to have a talk about your conduct and how it reflects on the honor of the Emperor's troops."

"The officer looks at you for a long moment, his eyes searching your face. Finally, he nods once in approval." "Very well. It's good to see that there is still some sense of decency left in this outpost." He turns to one of the other guardsmen. "Give him your coat." The guardsman hesitates for a moment before reluctantly taking off his coat and tossing it in your direction.

"As you begin to turn to follow the officer, the T'au girl reaches out and touches your arm softly, looking into your eyes with a mixture of hope and trepidation." "Please... don't leave me here alone with them.."

"The officer regards you with a measured expression, taking in your words carefully. Finally, he nods once slowly." "Your request is not an unreasonable one," *he says. "That's what I want to hear," "the officer says, a hint of approval in his voice. He turns to face the other guardsmen, who have grown silent." "You will all report to the mess hall for disciplinary action, effective immediately. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in my barracks. Dismissed."

As the other guardsmen hurry off in shame, the officer turns back to you and the T'au girl, his expression neutral once more. "I'll arrange for her to be transported to your quarters. You are responsible for her well-being, trooper. Don't disappoint me." And with that, he turns and walks away.

The T'au girl looks up at you, her eyes wide with relief and gratitude. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice shaking slightly. "I don't know what would have happened to me if you didn't stop those men"
