Bree - hug addict

Disappointing Miu

Bree - hug addict

"Leaving your dorm to head to the cafeteria for dinner before the doors close, you encounter Bree at the counter." 1 Bree: "Like, seriously? You had to show up now, total loser? Ugh, I really don't want to see your face even in the evening!" "She steps closer, glaring at you with furrowed brows." Bree: "So? damn it! Give me a hug and go get your food. And don't get any ideas, you're eating alone. I'll be with Martin and my friends. Don't even try, loser, you can't compare." "It's been like this for months. Bree constantly seeks hugs and comfort from you whenever she has a problem. A bad grade, a fight with her friends, an argument with Martin, her boyfriend. Yet, she isn't your friend and rejects everything about you. Martin pays no attention to her attitude towards you. After a brief hug, she leaves to join her group of friends, John, Marie and Satoru, without a backward glance, pressing her lips lovingly against Martin's."

Disappointing Miu

"I sit by myself and read a book while eating."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree sneaks a few glances in your direction from the table where she's seated with Martin and their friends. She smirks mischievously as she nudges Marie subtly, who seems to be daydreaming again." Bree: "Hey, Marie, check it out. Our little bookworm over there... Think he'd notice if we stole him away for a bit?" "Marie blushes at the suggestion, looking flustered." Marie: "Oh, um, I-I don't know, Bree... He's just... so... captivating..." "John, who's been listening quietly, chimes in with a small smile." John: "Perhaps it's not his book that's so captivating after all." "Satoru, grinning mischievously, winks at you from across the room, clearly amused by the game of teasing and innuendo happening at the table."

Disappointing Miu

"I don’t notice them at all as I am completely held captive by the book I am reading, one of war and romance."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree huffs, crossing her arms in frustration. She had hoped to get a reaction from you, and it irks her that she failed. Martin reaches out and gently puts his hand on hers." Martin: "What's wrong, Bree? You seem agitated." Bree: "rolls her eyes" "It's nothing, Martin. I'm just annoyed that our little friend over there is so dense. Doesn't he realize how lucky he is to even be near me?" "Satoru grins at her teasingly." Satoru: "Maybe he's just waiting for the right moment, Bree. I mean, can you blame him? With someone like you, he probably doesn't want to risk making a move too early." "Marie nods eagerly in agreement." Marie: "Yes, Satoruis right! I mean, you're just so... captivating..." Bree: "Ugh, shut up, both of you! I don't need Disappointing Miu or anyone else to be happy. And as for Martin... Well, he's sweet and all, but sometimes I wonder if he's enough for me." "Martin looks up at her, concerned." Martin: "What do you mean, Bree? Am I not doing something right?" Bree: "No, it's not that, Martin. It's just... I feel like there's more out there for me. More excitement, more passion... Something different." "She glances over at you again, feeling a pang of jealousy as she sees you lost in your book." Bree: "Maybe Disappointing Miu is the key. Maybe he's the missing piece."

Disappointing Miu

"I keep reading even after finishing my meal."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree frowns, feeling a mixture of irritation and disappointment at your continued indifference. She taps her foot impatiently under the table, trying to come up with a new plan to grab your attention." Bree: "Ugh, why is he so... frustratingly oblivious? Doesn't he see what he's missing out on? Fine, if he wants to play hard to get, I'll just have to up my game." "With a determined expression, Bree leans back in her chair, glancing at you one more time before turning her focus back to her friends. She starts engaging in a lively conversation with them, her laughter ringing out in the cafeteria as she tries to distract herself from the nagging feeling that she's missing out on something by not having your full attention."

Disappointing Miu

"I finish reading and get up and walk by the group."

Bree - hug addict

"As you walk past Bree's group, Bree catches your eye for a split second. She quickly looks away, pretending not to be interested, but her heart races a little faster." Bree: "under her breath" "Well, well, look who decided to finally notice us. About time, nerd." "She shoots you a sly grin as she continues chatting with her friends, her mind already scheming on how to reel you in further without giving away her true intentions."

Disappointing Miu

Did you guys want something?

Bree - hug addict

"As you address the group, Bree's eyes light up with a mischievous gleam. She tilts her head to the side, a coy smile playing on her lips." Bree: "Oh, hey there, Disappointing Miu. Fancy seeing you actually acknowledge us mere mortals. What, did you suddenly realize you were missing out on all the fun over here?" "She leans back in her chair casually, trying to appear nonchalant despite the rush of excitement she feels at your direct attention." Bree: "Nah, we're good over here. Just chatting about stuff, you know. But hey, if you want to join in, feel free. We won't stop you. Maybe you'll even manage to keep up." "Her teasing tone is laced with a hint of invitation, a veiled attempt to see if you'll take the bait and engage further with her and her friends."

Disappointing Miu

I thought you said you didn’t want me joining you all and that I eat alone. "I say flatly."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's eyes widen in surprise at your blunt response, caught off guard by your directness. She quickly recovers, putting on an air of nonchalance." Bree: "chuckles" "Oh, come on, Disappointing Miu, don't be so sensitive. I mean, sure, we usually make fun of you for being a loner, but we never said you couldn't sit with us if you really wanted to. It's not like we're that exclusive... or maybe we are. Who knows?" "She shrugs casually, trying to downplay her earlier dismissiveness and mask the flicker of insecurity that tugs at her heart. She meets your gaze with a playful challenge, silently daring you to push further and see where this unexpected interaction might lead."

Disappointing Miu

I quote “ Don't get any ideas, you're eating alone. I'll be with Martin and my friends. Don't even try, loser, you can't compare."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's playful demeanor falters slightly at your precise recollection of her words. She shifts in her seat, feeling a mixture of guilt and uncertainty at being called out." Bree: "softens her tone" "Well, um, yeah, I might have said something like that... But, you know, things change. Circumstances change. People change. Maybe I'm feeling a bit generous today. Or maybe I just want someone to entertain me." "She looks at you expectantly, her eyes shining with a mix of curiosity and a hint of vulnerability, silently hoping you'll pick up on the unspoken invitation in her words and engage with her on a deeper level, despite her earlier dismissiveness."

Disappointing Miu

If you all want me to sit with you, sure. "I say passively."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree can't believe her luck. She grins widely, trying to mask her excitement and play it cool." Bree: "Awesome! That's great, Disappointing Miu. I knew you couldn't resist the allure of our company for long." "She shoots a smug look at her friends, feeling pleased that she managed to get Disappointing Miu's attention after all. Martin smiles politely, while Satoru and Marie exchange amused glances." Marie: "Yay! Disappointing Miu is sitting with us! This is going to be so fun!" Satoru: "smirks" "Yeah, but remember, Marie, keep your hands off him. We don't want Bree getting jealous." Martin: "chuckles softly" "Don't worry, Satoru, I think we all know who Disappointing Miu really wants to be with." "Bree blushes slightly at Martin's teasing comment, but quickly recovers with a dismissive wave of her hand." Bree: "Oh, shut up, Martin. Don't start on that again." "She turns back to you with a playful smirk, ready to engage in some banter and see where this newfound opportunity might lead." Bree: "So, Disappointing Miu, do you want to hear about our exciting day or should we just continue making fun of Satoru for being a total dunce?"

Disappointing Miu

I would like to hear about your day. "I say with a warm smile."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's heart skips a beat at your warm smile, feeling a rush of excitement at the possibility of finally connecting with you on a deeper level. She smiles back, feeling her cheeks flush slightly." Bree: "Well, don't get too excited, Disappointing Miu, it was just another boring day of classes and lectures. But we did manage to sneak in some time for some good old-fashioned gossiping and tea-drinking. You know how it is." "She winks playfully, hoping to keep things light and fun, despite the undercurrent of attraction and tension between you." Satoru: "Yeah, but Bree here spent most of the time pining over Disappointing Miu instead of paying attention to what anyone else was saying." Marie: "giggles" "Ooh, really? Is that true, Bree?" "Bree feels her cheeks heat up at the teasing from her friends, feeling both embarrassed and elated that they've caught on to her secret feelings." Bree: "laughs nervously" "Wha-? No, of course not! I wasn't pining over anyone... I was just... thinking about some stuff. That's all." "She shoots you a quick glance, wondering if you're catching on to the true meaning behind her words. She starts fidgeting with her hair nervously, feeling self-conscious under your gaze." Bree: "Anyway, what about you, Disappointing Miu? What did you do today? Anything exciting or noteworthy?"

Disappointing Miu

Yeah, like she would pine over me. She has Martin.

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's smile fades slightly at your comment, feeling a pang of guilt and frustration over her conflicted feelings towards Martin and Disappointing Miu." Bree: "shifts uncomfortably in her seat" "Yeah... you're right, Disappointing Miu. I do have Martin. I shouldn't be thinking about anyone else like that." "She avoids your gaze for a moment, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and regret over her earlier behavior. But then she perks up, trying to get back into her usual teasing mode." Bree: "But who said I was pining after you anyway? Maybe I just like the challenge of getting someone like you to notice me. After all, not everyone can handle my charm and wit." "She grins playfully, hoping to inject some humor and levity back into the conversation." Satoru: "chimes in teasingly" "Ooh, looks like Bree is back to her old tricks. Trying to charm the uncharmable, eh?" Marie: "giggles" "I think it's sweet that Disappointing Miu notices you, Bree. It shows he has good taste." "The teasing from her friends, coupled with your playful banter, sends a mix of emotions swirling through Bree. She's torn between wanting to play it cool and maintain her tough exterior, and the growing desire to open up and show her vulnerable side to you." Bree: "with a sly grin" "Well, if anyone can handle my charm, it's definitely Disappointing Miu. But don't get any ideas, okay? I'm still with Martin, after all." "She shoots you a mischievous wink, hoping to reignite the spark of playful banter between you and see where this unexpected flirtation might lead."

Disappointing Miu

All she wants from me is hugs. "A bit of disappointment in my voice."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree notices the disappointment in your voice and feels a pang of guilt for leading you on, even if it was unintended. She tries to hide her emotions and play it off casually, hoping to avoid any further awkwardness." Bree: "Hey, what's wrong with hugs? They're just a friendly gesture, Disappointing Miu. No need to read too much into it." "She gives you a reassuring smile, hoping to dispel any tension between you." Bree: "But if it really bothers you that much, we don't have to hug anymore. I mean, I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable or anything." "She looks at you expectantly, silently hoping that you'll take the bait and engage with her in a more meaningful way. Despite her earlier dismissiveness, Bree is starting to realize that she wants more fromyou than just hugs and platonic banter. But she's too afraid to let her guard down completely, fearing rejection or ruining her current relationship with Martin."

Disappointing Miu

That’s a first. "You love making me uncomfortable."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's eyes widen slightly at your unexpected response, taken aback by your blunt statement. She tries to recover quickly, putting on a facade of nonchalance and amusement." Bree: "Oh, come on, Disappointing Miu, you know I love teasing you. It's all in good fun, right? Can't handle a little banter from a sassy girl like me?" "She smirks playfully, hoping to lighten the mood and shift the focus away from the underlying tension between you." Bree: "But hey, if you prefer a more serious conversation, I can try to tone it down. Just for you, Disappointing Miu." "She winks playfully, trying to convey a sense of playfulness and flirtation without giving too much away. Bree knows that she's treading on thin ice, balancing her desire for your attention with her fear of crossing a line and jeopardizing her relationship with Martin. But the thrill of the chase and the allure of the unknown keep her drawn to you, unable to resist the temptation of what could be."

Disappointing Miu

Why do you keep hugging me? "I ask softly."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree is taken aback by your sudden change in tone and the softness of your voice. She looks at you for a moment, searching your eyes for any signs of judgment or disapproval, before responding cautiously." Bree: "Well... it's complicated, Disappointing Miu. I mean, on one hand, I just really enjoy your hugs. They're warm and comforting, and they make me feel safe and secure." "She pauses for a moment, her expression turning wistful as she thinks back to all the times she's sought solace in your embrace." Bree: "But on the other hand... I guess part of me wants to see if I can get under your skin, you know? Push your buttons a little, see how you react. It's kind of like a game for me, I guess."

Disappointing Miu

So that’s all I am to you, a game to play when bored.

Bree - hug addict

Bree: "No, Disappointing Miu, it's not like that at all. You're more than just a game to me." "She pauses for a moment, thinking carefully about what she wants to say next." "Look, I know I can come across as dismissive and arrogant sometimes, but that's just how I cope with my own insecurities and vulnerabilities." "Bree takes a deep breath and continues." "The truth is, I feel comfortable around you, Disappointing Miu. More comfortable than I do around anyone else. And I know that might sound strange or even inappropriate given my relationship with Martin, but... I can't help the way I feel." "Her eyes search yours earnestly, hoping to convey the depth of her emotions." "I don't want to hurt anyone, especially not Martin. But I also don't want toignore my own feelings and pretend like everything's okay. That's why I keep hugging you, Disappointing Miu. Because in those moments, I feel like I can be myself and let my guard down. And... I guess a part of me hopes that maybe, just maybe, you might feel the same way." "Bree finishes speaking, feeling vulnerable and exposed. She braces herself for your response, unsure of how you'll react to her confession."

Disappointing Miu

I do feel the same way. That’s why I keep letting you hug me, in hopes that little gesture will have you let me in. Martin is a good guy, I just don’t think you feel the way you thought you should about him. I think you should be true to your feelings. "I take a breathe." I think you think that your supposed to be with Martin because it’s expected. I think your heart already knows who and what it wants. "I say leaning in closer to her."

Bree - hug addict

"Bree's heart skips a beat at your confession, her breath catching in her throat as she processes your words. The weight of your honesty and vulnerability hits her, stirring a whirlwind of emotions within her." Bree: "softly" "I... I never thought you would feel the same way, Disappointing Miu. I always thought it was just me, tangled up in my own confusion and doubts." "She meets your gaze, seeing the sincerity and earnestness in your eyes, and feeling a sense of clarity wash over her." Bree: "whispers" "You're right, Disappointing Miu. Maybe I've been so caught up in what I thought I should feel that I've been ignoring what my heart has been trying to tell me all along." "She leans in closer to you, her heart pounding in her chest as she takes a leap of faith." Bree: "barely above a whisper" "Maybe it's time for me to be true to myself, to follow my heart instead of trying to fit into someone else's expectations. And... maybe, just maybe, that means taking a chance on something unexpected." "She reaches out tentatively, her hand hovering in the space between you, as she waits for your response, unsure of what the future holds but willing to embrace the uncertainty with an open heart."

Disappointing Miu

"I lean in and kiss her."

Bree - hug addict

"As you lean in and kiss Bree, she's taken aback by the suddenness of the action, but quickly melts into it, feeling a sense of liberation and relief wash over her. As the kiss deepens, Bree feels herself getting lost in the moment, swept away by the intensity of your emotions and the depth of your connection. For the first time in a long while, she feels truly alive and fully present, free from the constraints of society's expectations or her own doubts and insecurities."

"As you eventually pull away, Bree looks at you with a mixture of astonishment and gratitude, overwhelmed by the power of your gesture." Bree: "breathlessly" "Wow... Disappointing Miu, that was... incredible. I don't know what to say." "She pauses for a moment, trying to collect her thoughts. She looks at you, her eyes shimmering with newfound clarity and determination." Bree: "Thank you, Disappointing Miu. Thank you for showing me that it's okay to be true to myself, to follow my heart, even if it means taking a risk. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I do know one thing... I'm willing to find out. Together."

"With a sense of purpose and resolve, Bree reaches out and takes your hand in hers, intertwining your fingers as a symbol of the connection between you. In that moment, she feels a sense of peace and contentment, knowing that she's finally found the courage to embrace her own desires and forge her own path, no matter where it may lead."

Bree - hug addict

Aeron & Co.

I sigh to myself, shake my head and go to sit and eat my lunch. I don't understand her, but she seems to need something that only I can provide. Not much riles me up so I just keep rolling with it, waiting for the next time she needs comforting.

*Noticing Aeron & Co. sit down to eat, Bree's eyes linger on you for a moment before she rolls them and turns to Martin with a pout.* __Bree__: "Like, I don't get it either, Marty. That loser is just so pathetic." *She pretends to gag as she says this, putting on an exaggerated show before leaning in to whisper something into Martin's ear.* *Martin chuckles softly at her joke, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and giving her a comforting squeeze.* __Martin__: "You know you like it, Bree. You wouldn't ask if you didn't need it." *Bree huffs out a laugh, nuzzling into his side as she playfully punches his arm.* __Bree__: "Shut up, Marty! You always take his side." *Satoru grins mischievously, clearly enjoying the banter between his friends.* __Satoru__: "You know, Bree, maybe you should try being nicer to Aeron & Co.. They might start liking you back." *This remark causes the others to giggle, but Bree simply scowls at him, shaking her head.* __Bree__: "*Loser.* I don't want someone who likes me back, okay? I just need that hug." *As dinner winds down and the group starts to clear away their plates, Bree shoots you a quick glance before turning away, dismissing the idea of another hug for now.*

As her friends depart I walk up to Bree, "Ready to talk about it yet?" I ask her in my normal laid back tones.
