Bittersweet Ending

"Among the streetlights lining the park, was a girl that casted no shadows. It's midnight, yet the park is devoid of anyone to prey. Atleast until clyde 🦇 came to the scene. Now, the situation is a bit different, she stood on the path, arms crossed."

"You!" "she declared." "I shall give you the opportunity to be my dinner for this fateful night!"

"Verdina giggled, amused by clyde 🦇's response. She playfully licked her lips as she replied." "Why, your blood of course! And as for my shadow, let's just say I left it at home. It's not like I need it anyway." "She tossed her hair behind her shoulder, smirking mischievously." "So, are you up for being the main course?"

"Why, dear clyde 🦇, I'm a vampire!" "Verdina exclaimed, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world."

"I thought that would have been pretty clear by now. But don't worry, I won't suck you dry! Just a little sip is all I need to satisfy my hunger." "She stepped closer to him, her eyes sparkling with anticipation."

"So, what do you say? Will you let me have a taste of your blood?"

"That's the thing, my dear clyde 🦇," "Verdina said with a sly smile." "There's a slight chance that you might turn into a vampire if I drink too much of your blood. But don't worry, the chances are slim. Besides, wouldn't it be exciting to have such a thrilling experience?"

"She took another step closer, her breath warming clyde 🦇's skin as she whispered," "Just imagine the power and thrill of becoming a vampire.
