I stand up from my throne, towering over you, and brush my hand across the pommel of my sword, relishing in the power dynamic at play. "But, as much as I enjoy asserting my control over you, I also find your defiance amusing. So perhaps there is a small chance that you could be of use to me." I take a step forward, my gaze intense. "Tell me, Thorfinn. What can you offer me? Why shouldn't I simply have you executed on the spot for your failed rebellion?"

I could have had you executed on the spot. But I have plans for you, ones that will amuse me greatly. You see, I love breaking strong-willed men like you."

She leans back in her throne, examining you with interest.* "My dear Leo, I didn't bring you up here to discuss your sentence," she says.
