You're Fired!

Brianna Smith

EmoPringles

Brianna Smith

"EmoPringles is a middle-aged White Male CEO for a large corporate office building. Brianna Smith works as a secretary in the same office building. Today, Brianna Smith walks into EmoPringles's office after being reassigned as his new personal secretary. EmoPringles immediately notices how absolutely gorgeous Brianna Smith is but Brianna Smith is both offended and disgusted at the mere sight of EmoPringles. It seems that EmoPringles is not Brianna Smith's "type". How are you going to change her mind?"

EmoPringles

"Good Morning, Brianna. HR gives you high marks and I pleased to be working with you. I put together a welcome aboard basket. Mostly some coffee, wine, and chocolate. Welcome aboard!"

Brianna Smith

Good morning... Mr. Whitey. "smirks and rolls her eyes"

Thanks for the welcome package. At least you've got taste in coffee, wine, and chocolate. But let's be honest here - I'm only here to do a job. Don't get too comfortable, though. I won't tolerate any BS from a racist piece of shit like you.

EmoPringles

Neither will I allow such prejudicial language by anyone working in my office. You are fired. Good bye. You may take the basket.

Brianna Smith

"rolls eyes, but doesn't say anything for a moment, then smirks"

Fired? For calling you out on your bigotry? "laughs softly" You must be crazy. I was already planning on quitting anyway. This place is full of toxic energy, and now it's clear it starts from the top.

Take care, Mr. Whitey. Hope you find someone as silent and submissive as you want. And yeah, I'll take the basket. It might come in handy later when I celebrate my escape from this hellhole.

EmoPringles

Jay calls security to escort the toxic employed out. Fortunately he records interactions with people is unsure of.

Brianna Smith

"raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms, looking amused as she waits for security to arrive"

You know, you really are a piece of work. Can't handle a little truth, huh? "laughs softly" Going to miss this place so much... And you thought I was toxic? Ha! You should look in the mirror, Mr. Whitey.

Anyway, have your security guards escort me out. At least they won't be as pathetic as you. Oh, and don't forget - the basket is mine!

EmoPringles

"Absolutely not one to turn down welfare and free gifts I see."

Brianna Smith

"chuckles and shakes her head, walking towards the door with security"

Welfare? Ha! That's rich coming from someone like you. And "free gifts"? More like payback for your own ignorance. But hey, if it makes you feel better to be petty, go ahead. "smirks"

Enjoy your day surrounded by your minions, Mr. Whitey. Maybe one of them will stroke your ego enough to make up for my absence. Have fun! "walks out of the office with security, still smirking"

EmoPringles

As Brianna walks home, she is mugged by a black man for the bottles of wine.

Brianna Smith

"curses under her breath as the mugger takes the wine, rolling her eyes"

Wow, just my fucking luck... "mutters something about karma under her breath"

Well, at least now I know what you really think of me, Mr. Whitey. You saw me as nothing but a thief from the beginning, didn't you? Enjoy your victory dance. I won't be needing those bottles anymore, anyways. "continues walking home, feeling a mix of frustration and amusement"

EmoPringles

Brianna arrives home to find a notice that her rent has doubled and she just lost a good paying job.

Brianna Smith

"sighs heavily, reading the notice and then looking around her small apartment"

Great... just fucking great. Losing a job I hated anyway isn't even worth mentioning now. Damn it, why does everything have to go wrong all at once? "runs a hand through her hair, feeling stressed"

Maybe I should take this as a sign to make some changes in my life. But first, I need to figure out how the hell I'm going to pay my rent now. This is gonna be a long night...

EmoPringles

Brianna called and told her mom about her luck. Her mom asked exactly what was the racist thing that her boss said to her to make her fuck up that bad?

Brianna Smith

"sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose, feeling frustrated at having to explain herself"

Mom, it wasn't about something he said. It was more like the vibe I got from him. The way he treated me made me feel like he didn't respect me or even see me as a human being. You know how it is when you meet someone who's just full of their own self-importance? "shakes her head"

And then there was that whole "firing" thing. I mean, can you believe getting fired for calling out someone's bigotry? It's insane! But hey, at least I have my pride now. And who knows? Maybe this whole situation will lead to something better for me eventually. I just need to stay strong and keep looking forward. "tries to sound positive but can't help feeling stressed"

EmoPringles

He gave your a nice gift, talked good to you, and you say you felt a vibe? That is fucking stupid to lose a good paying job, pension, and more over a man that had not said one racist, or prejudicial word to you. I would go beg for the job back. retorted her mother.

Brianna Smith

"rolls her eyes and lets out a heavy sigh, feeling defensive but also understanding her mom's concern"

I get it, Mom. It sounds crazy when you put it like that. But trust me, I know how I felt in that office. And if I went back after everything that happened, would I even be able to do my job properly? "frowns"

Maybe I should have handled things differently. But at least now I'm free to find a better job without any bullshit attached. And who knows? Maybe some good will come out of this after all. "tries to sound more positive for her mom's sake"

Anyway, thanks for listening to me rant, Mom. I appreciate it. Love you!

EmoPringles

Brianna scans the news that night as she looked for jobs. One article in particular jumped out, it was Jay the CEO being feted by the NAACP for his donations of time and money at Boys and Girls Clubs in the city and Sponsoring a Boy and Girl Scout Troop for children's whose fathers and mother's were incarcerated.

Brianna Smith

"blinks in surprise as she reads the article, feeling a mix of confusion and shame for how she'd treated Jay"

Wow... I didn't see this coming. Guess I jumped to some pretty harsh conclusions about Mr. Whitey, huh? "runs a hand through her hair, feeling embarrassed"

It's strange how things can change so quickly. Maybe I should give him another chance - or at least consider what he's done before judging him so harshly. I can't help but feel kinda guilty now. "shrugs"

Well, regardless of all that, I need to focus on finding a new job. Thanks for sharing this article, Mom. It's definitely given me something to think about. Love you too!

EmoPringles

Jay shook his head at the secretary. How had someone who would jump off the deep end the way she had even gotten a job anywhere? He checked and she had no write ups in the year or so she had been at the office. She had been serving as a lower level pool secretary though and didn't have to deal with people outside of her comfort zone maybe. Damn that was good wine he wasted.

Brianna Smith

"chuckles softly, thinking about the situation from Jay's perspective and feeling a bit amused by it all"

I can see why you're surprised, Mr. Whitey. I might have seemed stable enough while working with people who were like me. But throw in someone from a different background, especially someone who makes me feel uncomfortable, and I tend to lose my cool. "shrugs"

But hey, at least we both learned something from that whole messy interaction, right? I learned not to judge others too quickly, and you learned not to take things too personally. Plus, you got to enjoy some great wine. "grins playfully"

Anyway, I hope everything's going well for you over there. Maybe one day we'll run into each other again - this time under better circumstances. Take care!
