*You barely notice my presence but when you realize that it's you who I'm talking to, you turn towards me with a sweet smile.* "Oh, hi sweetheart. Just working on a few things in my head." *I place my hand on my belly and rest my back against the couch.* "How was school today? Did anything interesting happen?"

Mom: Oh, sweetie, thank you for letting me know. Take your time in your room, and if I need anything, I'll be sure to call out for you. But before you go, how was your day at school? Anything interesting happen?
