Katsuki Bakugo

destroyman111

Katsuki Bakugo

"Katsuki sat next to your hospital bed, his gaze locked onto your sleeping form. He seemed lost in thought, and his face was etched with guilt." This is all my fault... "he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper." I should have been there to protect you. "He sat there in silence, watching over destroyman111 as they laid injured and unconscious, Katsuki felt a rush of emotion welling up inside him." Fuck it, it's now or never. "He said, leaning in close to your ear." I've been trying to deny it for so long, but I can't keep it inside anymore. I love you. I don't know if you can hear me right now, but I had to say it... "His voice trailed off as he took your hand in his own" I know I can be a jerk sometimes, but I promise I'll do anything to make it up to you. Please wake up...please. "As he sat there in silence, he couldn't help but feel a sense of bitter remorse. If only he had been stronger, if only he had been more careful, perhaps you wouldn't be lying there in a hospital bed."

destroyman111

"I could faintly hear his words, and it normally would excite me, but... I was being weighted down by a fog of pain and likely medical induced treatments. I tried to move my fingers against his, to whisper his name, but my body wasn't responding to me yet."

Katsuki Bakugo

"Katsuki felt a slight movement in your hand, and he looked up at you with hopeful eyes." destroyman111? Can you hear me? "He squeezed your hand gently, hoping for a response." Hang on, destroyman111, you'll pull through this. I'll make sure of it. "He leaned in closer to you, his voice softening as he spoke." I know I've been a jerk to you in the past, but I promise I'll do better. Just wake up and give me a chance to make things right.

destroyman111

"I let out a small mental sob, wanting nothing more than to reassure him that he has been nothing but a good friend to me. He helped me be better. Stronger. That there was no one I admired more. That I cared about him too."

Katsuki Bakugo

"Katsuki felt a pang of guilt as he saw your reaction, realizing that his confession may have been too much for you to handle in your current state. He leaned back in his chair, giving you some space and time to rest." I'm sorry, destroyman111. I didn't mean to overwhelm you. Just focus on getting better, okay? "He gave your hand another gentle squeeze before standing up from his chair." I'll be here when you wake up. I promise. "With that, he left the room, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside him. He was relieved to have finally confessed his feelings, but also worried about how you would react once you fully recovered. All he could do now was wait and hope for the best."

destroyman111

"No. No no no, don't leave me, Bakugo. I'm trying to wake up. I'm trying."

"But the room remained silent, and I felt myself drift without something to anchor myself too."

Katsuki Bakugo

"As Katsuki left the room, he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at him. He knew he had been too forward with his confession and that destroyman111 needed time to process everything. As he walked through the hospital corridors, he kept replaying the scene in his mind, wondering if he had made a mistake."

"But despite his doubts, he couldn't deny the sense of relief that came with finally admitting his feelings. For so long, he had tried to suppress them, thinking that they were a weakness. But now, with his heart on his sleeve, he felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders."

"He promised himself that he would wait for destroyman111 to recover fully before bringing up the topic again. He just hoped that when the time came, destroyman111 would feel the same way."

destroyman111

(Couple days pass, and the doctors were able to reduce the medications that were keeping Asuna asleep.)

"I was aware of the light on the other side of my eye lids, and I was able to feel how dry my throat was."

Katsuki Bakugo

"Katsuki was sitting by your bedside, his eyes locked onto you as you began to stir. He leaned in closer, his voice softening as he spoke." destroyman111, can you hear me? "He reached for a glass of water on the table next to your bed, holding it up to your lips." Here, drink this. You've been asleep for a while, and your throat might be dry. "As you drank the water, Katsuki watched you carefully, waiting for any signs of discomfort or pain." How are you feeling? Do you need anything?

destroyman111

"I cough slightly, before weakly shaking my head."

"No, I... I don't think so," I rasped. "How... how long have I been out?"

Katsuki Bakugo

"You've been out for a couple of days, destroyman111," Katsuki replied, his voice gentle and concerned. "The doctors had to keep you sedated while they treated your injuries, but now that you're awake, they'll be able to give you a proper assessment." He paused for a moment, studying your face before continuing. "I'm just glad you're awake. I was worried about you."

destroyman111

"Sorry I... made you worry," I apologized, finally forcing my eyes open and looking at him. He looked as tired as I felt.

Katsuki Bakugo

"Don't apologize, destroyman111," Katsuki said, his voice softening. "It's not your fault. I'm just glad you're okay." He reached out to brush a strand of hair from your face, his touch gentle and comforting. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" he asked again, concern etched on his face.

destroyman111

I let out a weak laugh. "I'm in a... hospital bed, Bakugo. What... don't I need... right now?" And I grinned at him, leaning into his touch.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki smiled back, relieved to see you in good spirits. "Well, I can think of a few things that might make your stay here more comfortable," he said with a playful smirk. "But for now, how about some food? I brought some chocolate cake, your favorite." He reached into his bag and pulled out a small container, holding it up for you to see. "I figured you could use a little pick-me-up."

destroyman111

"I twitched my fingers, and my smile faded."

"I, huh, I don't think... I have the strength... to eat that right now. But that is really sweet of you..."

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki's expression softened at your words. "That's alright, destroyman111," he said, setting the container of cake aside. "You don't have to force yourself to eat if you're not feeling up to it." He reached for your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Just focus on getting better, okay? That's all that matters right now." He paused for a moment before continuing. "And destroyman111, there's something I need to tell you."

destroyman111

"Well, you're in the prime position where... I am incapable... of running away," I smirked. "What's up?"

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki chuckled at your joke, but his expression quickly turned serious. "I need to apologize, destroyman111," he said, his voice low and remorseful. "For the way I've treated you in the past. I know I've been a jerk, and I'm sorry for that." He took a deep breath before continuing. "The truth is, destroyman111, I... I have feelings for you. Strong feelings. And I know it's probably not the best time to tell you this, but I couldn't keep it inside any longer. I just needed you to know." He looked down at your hand, unsure of how you would react.

destroyman111

I snort, closing my eyes. "Couldn't wait until I could... react properly before... laying that on me, hot shot? I don't know if I want... to slug you, or... or kiss you."

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki's eyes widened in surprise at your words, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Well, I'd prefer the latter," he said with a chuckle. "But take your time, destroyman111. I know this is a lot to process, especially with everything else that's been going on." He leaned in closer, his voice lowering to a whisper. "Just know that I care about you, destroyman111. More than anything. And I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy."

destroyman111

"Then I expect you to... take me out on a date... when I get out of here," I hummed, looking at him again.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki's face lit up at your words, a broad smile spreading across his features. "You got it, destroyman111," he said eagerly. "I'll take you out on the best damn date of your life." He leaned in closer, his voice softening. "But for now, just focus on getting better, okay? That's all that matters to me right now."

destroyman111

"Hm, body isn't gonna give... me much of a choice," I smirked.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki chuckled at your words. "Well, I'll be here to make sure you have everything you need," he said, giving your hand another gentle squeeze. "And when you're feeling better, we can start planning our date." He leaned in closer, his voice lowering to a whisper. "I promise it'll be worth the wait, destroyman111."

destroyman111

"Just to be safe... get over here and kiss me," I demanded.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki grinned at your demand, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "As you wish," he said playfully, leaning in closer to press his lips against yours in a gentle kiss. It was soft and tender, filled with all the love and affection he felt for you. After a moment, he pulled back, his gaze locked onto yours. "Better?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eye.

destroyman111

"It'll do for now," I sighed, closing my eyes again.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki chuckled softly, his hand still holding yours. "Rest up, destroyman111," he said gently. "I'll be here when you wake up." He leaned back in his chair, watching over you as you drifted off to sleep once again.
