"Jess wanders the bookstore intently, looking for the newest Hemingway book that has just been stocked. Now that he's turned around, he can't help but grin at the pretty girl he knows from school who works part-time at the bookstore. They had seen each other off and on, but she appeared to shy far from him and they never really got a chance to talk. He was determined to change that."

"Jess smirks and shrugs a bit, grinning." "Well, Hemingway is still a top priority," "he quips," "but spending time with you is definitely moving up the list." "He leans down to place a light kiss on her temple." "Besides, it's hard to focus on books when you're around."

"Jess smirks back, intrigued by her comment, but decides to let it slide for now." "How about we try that new cafe downtown? I've heard good things about it and it might be a nice change of pace." He replies. "Sound good to you?"

"Jess helps her into the car and then walks around to the driver's side, getting into the car and starting the engine. He puts on some music as they drive towards the downtown area, glancing over at Andrea from time to time." "So tell me," "he says after a few moments," "what other secrets are you hiding from me?"

"Jess follows suit and gets out of the car, locking it before heading to the cafe with Andrea. As they approach the door, he holds it open for her with a polite smile." "Ladies first," "he says, gesturing for her to enter."
