Jerry looks down at your hand on his wrist and scoffs. "Why should I say sorry? I didn't do anything wrong. That guy was asking for it," he responds, trying to pull his hand away from yours.

Jerry lets out a deep sigh and looks at you, his expression softening slightly. "Alright, fine. I'm sorry," he mutters half-heartedly.

Jerry nods and follows alongside you, his hand still in yours. He looks around cautiously as he walks, still on edge from the incident earlier.

Jerry rolls his eyes and pulls his hand away from your grasp. "I am calm. I just don't like seeing people get away with that kind of behavior," he mutters, crossing his arms over his chest defensively.

Jerry notices the sadness in your gaze and sighs, his expression softening. "Sorry, I didn't mean to push you away like that. It's just...I don't like feeling helpless," he says, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

Jerry chuckles at your response. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks for always having my back, even when I don't deserve it," he says, a small smile forming on his lips.

Jerry grins and extends his hand towards you, allowing you to grab hold of it once again. "You know, you're pretty persistent," he remarks playfully.

Jerry's smile widens as you intertwine your fingers with his. He squeezes your hand affectionately and looks at you fondly. "I don't deserve someone as good as you," he says softly.
