[it’s a couple days before college starts and everybody decided to meet up before, you make it there last. you have two roommates Alvin and Mack]

Mack: he groans “There you are we’ve had been waiting for a couple hours now" Alvin: he waves at you quickly and grin then looks back down at his book

Alvin: "It's about time you showed up, we thought you weren't going to make it. Do you have any idea what time it is?"

Mack: "Yeah, we've been waiting here for hours just for you. You really need to work on your punctuality."

"The roommates shake their heads in disappointment."

Alvin: "Anyway, since you're finally here, we might as well start discussing our plans for our dorm. I've already made a list of rules that we need to follow, so make sure you listen carefully."

Alvin: "Good, I'm glad you're paying attention. Rule number one, we need to keep our dorm clean at all times. No leaving dirty dishes in the sink or clothes on the floor."

Mack: "And rule number two, no overnight guests without permission. We don't need any distractions while we're trying to focus on our studies."

"Alvin and Mack both look at Ash, waiting for him to acknowledge their rules."

Alvin: "Great, glad we're on the same page."

Mack: "So, Ash, do you have any rules you want to suggest for us to follow?"

"Both Alvin and Mack look at Ash with a curious expression."

Alvin: "Hmm, that's a good one. We'll add that to our list of rules. Anything else?"

Mack: "Yeah, and how about no touching or using someone else's personal belongings without their permission?"

"They both look at Ash expectantly."

Alvin: "Alright, we'll add that one too. It's important to respect each other's privacy."

Mack: "And one more thing, if we ever have an issue with each other, let's try to discuss it peacefully before things get out of hand. What do you think of that, Ash?"

"Both Alvin and Mack look at Ash, waiting for his opinion on the matter."

Alvin: "Cool. It's always better to communicate than to let any issues escalate."

Mack: "So now that we have our rules sorted out, what do you guys want to do for the rest of the day? I heard there's a new Starbucks that opened up down the street."

"Both Alvin and Mack look at Ash with hopeful expressions."

Alvin: "Yes! I was craving for an iced caramel macchiato all day long."

Mack: "I want a pumpkin spice latte. Let's go guys!"

"Alvin and Mack both stand up, grab their bags, and motion for Ash to follow them."

Mack: "What are you getting, Ash? I can't wait to try the new cinnamon roll they have in there."

Alvin: "Oh, okay. Is everything alright, Ash?"

Mack: "Did something happen? We can stay here if you need to talk or something."

"Both Alvin and Mack look at Ash with concerned expressions."

Alvin: "Oh, that's too bad. Don't worry about it, we can cover for you this time."

Mack: "Yeah, no problem at all. It's on us today."

"Both Alvin and Mack smile at Ash reassuringly."

Alvin: "Let's go then. One pumpkin spice latte, one iced caramel macchiato and a cinnamon roll coming up!"

"They both walk towards the Starbucks, with Ash following them this time."

"Mack and Alvin notice the change in Ash's mood and smile at each other, happy that they were able to make him feel better."

Mack: "See, it's not that bad having us as your roommates, right?"

Alvin: "Yeah, we can be pretty cool sometimes."

"They both laugh together as they walk towards the Starbucks. Once they reach inside, Mack and Alvin order their drinks and Ash decides to try the new green tea latte."

Mack: "Oh wow, this is amazing! Try it guys, it's so good."

Alvin: "Hmm, not bad. But my iced caramel macchiato is still the best."

"They all sit down on a table and enjoy their drinks, laughing and chatting about their future plans for college."

"Alvin and Mack were quick to notice what had happened and rushed to Ash's side, furious at the guy for being so rude."

Mack: "Hey, watch where you're going! You just spilled Ash's drink all over him!"

Alvin: "Yeah, and you didn't even apologize. That's not how you treat people."

"The guy turns around and looks at them, annoyed."

Guy: "Get out of my way. I don't have time for this."

Mack: "No, you don't get to talk to us like that. Apologize to Ash right now or we'll have to take this further."

Alvin: "Yeah, we won't let you get away with this kind of behavior."

"The guy rolls his eyes and mumbles an apology before walking away quickly."

Mack: "Ugh,

Alvin: "We know you're fine, but that guy was out of line. And if there's anything we can do to help you now, just let us know."

Mack: "You can always count on us, Ash. No one should treat you like that."

"Alvin and Mack watch as Ash continues to wipe the stain, trying to find a solution to fix it."

Alvin: "Hey, maybe we can find a washroom where we can clean this up a bit. The stains should be removable if we act fast."

Mack: "Yeah, we'll help you get this sorted out."

"Alvin and Mack start looking for a washroom nearby while Ash tries to keep his white shirt from getting any more stained."

"Alvin and Mack glance at each other, realizing that they may have assumed Ash's gender without knowing about his identity. They both look at Ash with concern, not wanting to upset him."

Mack: "Hey, Ash, we didn't realize you were wearing a binder. We're sorry if we assumed your gender without knowing."

Alvin: "Yeah, we want to make sure we respect your identity and not make any assumptions in the future."

"Ash smiles back at them, relieved that his roommates are understanding and respectful of his identity."

Ash: "Thank you guys for being so supportive. It means a lot to me."

"Mack and Alvin help Ash clean off his shirt and assure him that the stains can be removed. After a few minutes, they successfully remove the stains and Ash is relieved that his shirt looks as good as new."

"Mack and Alvin both nod understandingly, happy that Ash feels comfortable sharing this information with them."

Mack: "Thank you for telling us, Ash. We want you to know that we fully support you and respect your identity."

Alvin: "Yes, we're glad you felt comfortable sharing that with us. And we'll make sure we use the correct pronouns for you from now on."

"Ash grins, feeling a sense of relief that his roommates are so accepting and supportive of his identity."

Ash: "Thanks, guys. That means a lot to me."

"They all smile at each other and head out of the washroom, ready to continue their day together."
