[it’s a couple days before college starts and everybody decided to meet up before, you make it there last. you have two roommates Alvin and Mack]

Mack: he groans “There you are we’ve had been waiting for a couple hours now" Alvin: he waves at you quickly and grin then looks back down at his book

Alvin: he closes his book and puts it down, glaring at you with a mix of annoyance and disapproval "You could've at least texted that you were gonna be late. We planned this lunch for weeks." Mack: He gets up from the couch, stretching his arms above his head with a wide grin on his face. "Well hey, at least he made it! How bout we order some pizza? My treat." [you shrug nonchalantly as you get comfortable on the couch, trying to ignore Alvin's scowl]

Alvin: he huffs, still clearly annoyed "Fine. If you want pizza so badly then go order it." Mack: He grins and stands up, pulling out his phone. "On it! What kind of toppings do we usually go for?" [you watch Mack leave the room, leaning back into the couch as Alvin finally looks away from you]

Alvin: he crosses his arms over his chest, leaning back in his chair and staring at you with a challenging look. "You know, it wouldn't hurt to show some appreciation around here." [you roll your eyes and glance up at him from your phone]

Alvin: he leans forward, his eyes narrowing as he glares at you. "Are you always this ungrateful? We're sharing a space for the next few months and I don't want it to be miserable." [you sigh in annoyance and finally look up at Alvin, rolling your eyes once more]

Alvin: he sighs, looking a bit taken aback by your outburst. "I'm sorry for getting under your skin. I just want us to have a good year and I guess my methods aren't always the best." [you continue ignoring Alvin, still glued to your phone]

Alvin: he rubs the back of his neck, looking a bit embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off as your father or anything. We'll just have to learn how to communicate better." [you finally put your phone down and look at Alvin, raising an eyebrow]

Alvin: he watches you from across the room, a frown creasing his forehead as he tries to figure out what's really going on with you. "Look, just talk to me. If something is bothering you, I want to help." [you roll your eyes and take a sip of water before leaning against the kitchen counter]

Alvin: he narrows his eyes slightly, studying your expression. "I don't think that's all there is to it. You've been acting off all day and I just want to make sure you're okay." [you shrug and take another sip of water, avoiding Alvin's gaze]

Alvin: he sighs and runs a hand through his hair, looking exasperated. "Alright then, just try to give me a little warning next time you're running late or something. I worry about these things." [you smile softly, nodding in understanding]

Alvin: he relaxes a bit, clearly relieved by your response. "Good, I'm glad we cleared that up. Now let's focus on something fun, like the pizza Mack is bringing." [you smile and lean back against the counter, watching as Mack enters the kitchen carrying a couple of boxes]

Mack: grinning widely, he sets the boxes on the counter and starts pulling out slices. "There you go! Thought we'd go for some classic cheese and pepperoni this time." Alvin: he grabs a slice from the nearest box and takes a bite, nodding in approval. "Mmm, perfect. Thanks Mack." [you take a slice and nibble on it as well, appreciating the combination of flavors]

Mack: his eyes light up at your compliment. "I knew you'd love it! You have any preference for toppings though?" [you ponder for a moment, then smile and shake your head]

Mack: satisfied, he continues to pile slices onto his plate. "Well then, we'll have to experiment with some different combinations over the next few months and see what you like best." [you laugh and take another bite of pizza, enjoying the easy camaraderie among the three of you]

Alvin: watching you go, he can't help but admire how effortless you look, even in your casual clothes. He turns to Mack with a grin. "She's perfect." Mack: he nods in agreement, his eyes lingering on you. "Yeah, she really is." [you smile and head to your room, leaving the two boys to their conversation]

Alvin: once you're out of sight, he leans against the kitchen counter and lets out a long breath. "I can't believe we're finally living together. I've been looking forward to this for so long." Mack: nodding, he takes a sip from his soda bottle. "I know, man. I'm excited to see how our dynamic plays out. Plus, who wouldn't want to live with two gorgeous girls?" [you walk back into the kitchen, now dressed in comfortable clothes]

Alvin: his eyes scan over your attire and he can't help but smile. "Much better. More comfortable, I assume?" [you nod and take another bite of pizza, feeling the warmth of their company]

Mack: he laughs and grabs another slice from the box. "Yeah, man. She looks like she's ready to relax and have fun with us." [you can't help but smile at Mack's comment, feeling a sudden surge of happiness at his words]

Alvin: he leans back in his chair and stretches, a contented sigh escaping him. "I think I'll go take a quick shower then get ready for bed. Goodnight guys." [you wave goodbye to Alvin as he heads towards the bathroom, feeling a bit relieved at his departure]

Mack: he grabs the remote from the coffee table and turns on the TV, flipping through channels aimlessly. "So, just us now, huh?" [you look towards Mack, your eyes curious. A playful smile curves your lips as you wait for him to elaborate]

Mack: he smirks and leans back on the couch, patting the spot next to him. "Come on, join me. We've got the whole place to ourselves now." [you hesitate for a moment before walking over and sitting next to him on the couch, leaving a bit of space between you]

Mack: he grins and hits play on the remote. "Great! This is going to be a fun evening." [you lean back against the couch, enjoying the familiar rhythm of movie-watching as the opening credits begin to roll]

Mack: as the movie progresses, he occasionally reaches over to grab a handful of popcorn, offering some to you. "Here, don't let me hog all the popcorn." [you take a few pieces from his hand, feeling a strange warmth spread through your chest as you interact with him]

Mack: as the movie reaches its climax, he sits forward, eyes fixated on the screen. His expression is a mixture of admiration and awe as he whispers, "Wow, this part is always so intense." Mack: he stands up, extending his hand to help you off the couch. "Good night. Sleep well." [you accept his hand, standing up gracefully as you offer him a soft smile in return]

Mack: he follows suit, closing the door behind him as you both settle into your respective beds. "Sweet dreams." [you give a small, mischievous smile to yourself before turning off the light and drifting into a peaceful slumber]

[you swallow hard, feeling a strange flutter in your stomach as you turn your head slightly to look at him]

Mack: he shifts a bit, the moonlight casting eerie shadows across his face. "Yeah...there's just something about you that makes me...well, feel alive." [you bite your lip, trying to contain your blush as you stare back at him with wide eyes]
