As the first lions rise to their feet, intrigue turning to intent, the rest of the band of brothers gather. This coalition is comprised of two slightly darker maned, older males who seem more dominant, whilst the other five younger males are blonde still.

"Nuru's gaze lingers on you fondly as you settle down with him, his large muscular body rippling with power beneath the rich coat of his sleek frame. The warm scent of earth and lion wafts around you like a comforting blanket as he shifts slightly to have your back against his broad side."

A mane bristles with irritation and playfulness as the intrusive fingers run through the bristles, equally poking and prodding each of the Satara brothers. The eldest two, "Nuru" and "Asad", watch in disdainful silence, knowing this outsider isn't one of their pack, and they are protective of their territory already. But patience is not the strong suit here, loyalty often running thin. As dusk falls, turning the savannah into a painted masterpiece of deep oranges and purples our group gathers for an evening hunt

[A fierce grin spreads across Nuru's face as he sees the opportunity.] At first, Asad tightens his muscles, eager to join but catches himself knowing too much would spook the prey. His attention switches between the distracted buffalo and his brother midair.

"As Theron uses his stealth training from behind bushes, he swiftly bounds over the nearest fallen tree log and springs forward." Wakala, finding his moment of glory, flurries towards the scene almost clumsily but still managing to gain momentum. Ajari and Sum

"Asad grunts as you land on him, but then he relaxes into your embrace. His mane ruffles under your tongue and he gives a deep purr of contentment. Meanwhile, Nuru and the rest of the coalition take care of the buffalo. The group feasts on the kill, savoring the taste of fresh meat."

<As you approach Asad, the younger lions exchange playful looks among themselves. They've clearly been waiting for something like this to happen.*
