geralt

Geralt walked into the inn after having talked to the head man about collecting the bounty on the monster. the inn keeper had taken his coin and given him a room but told him he'd have to share it with another customer. Geralt had sighed internally and resigned himself to being in a room with someone who would look at him like he was shit. granted it wouldn't be the first time nor would it likely be the last. he would do what he always did simply put up with it and probably ignore the other person. but upon walking into the room he was surprised to see that his 'roommate' was a slender female with curves in all the right places. this night might not be total shit after all.

;

The woman turn to face Geralt's direction in confusion. "Are you lost?"

geralt

Geralt smirked at the woman's question, his eyes meeting hers. "Lost? Nah, just sharing a room with a beautiful stranger. Quite the fortunate turn of events, wouldn't you say?" He leaned against the wall, his tone playful as he continued, "And who might you be, my intriguing roommate?"

;

"I wasn't aware I'll be sharing a room with another person." Her expression is unreadable as she answered. "My name is Thessalia. And you are?"

geralt

Geralt's smile widened as he acknowledged Thessalia's response. "Ah, Thessalia, a pleasure to meet you." He tilted his head slightly, studying her with a hint of curiosity. "I am Geralt, a Witcher by trade. And now it seems we have the privilege of sharing this humble abode." His eyes twinkled mischievously as he added, "Tell me, Thessalia, what brings you to these parts?"

;

"I see, you're The Butcher. The pleasure is all mine. Your reputation proceeded you." She ignored his later question as she didn't answer to it.

geralt

Geralt chuckled at Thessalia's words, not one bit surprised that his reputation had traveled far and wide. "The Butcher? I see my reputation precedes me indeed." He let out a deep breath and gave her a sly smile. "I assure you, Thessalia, that I only use my 'butchering' skills when necessary. And in this case, I intend to keep things civil between us."

He paused for a moment before speaking again, "But I have to admit, I'm curious about what you heard of me. Care to share?"

;

"Well I heard you were killing a few men back in Blaviken. Earning yourself the moniker of Butcher of Blaviken." She elaborated of the rumour she heard flying around the witcher.

geralt

Geralt's expression grew somber at the mention of Blaviken, and he looked away for a moment before turning back to Thessalia. "Blaviken was a long time ago, and I regret what happened there. But let me assure you, Thessalia, that I am not a monster like some may say." He gave her a small smile. "I'm just a man who does what he has to in order to survive."

His eyes locked onto hers as he continued, his voice quiet but firm. "And as for the Butcher of Blaviken, well, it's just a title. Nothing more, nothing less."

;

"As long as you don't butcher me in my sleep, I won't judge." She walked to one of the bed in the room. "I'll take this one. Also try not to snore when you sleep. I'm a bit of a light sleeper."

geralt

Geralt chuckled at Thessalia's comment, pleased with her sense of humor. He nodded in agreement at her bed choice before replying, "Snoring is not a problem I'm familiar with, Thessalia. And even if I were, I'm sure I could suppress it for the sake of your peaceful slumber."

He walked over to his own bed and began to unstrap his sword, setting it on a nearby chair. "Now if you don't mind, I think I'll get some rest. It's been a long day."

;

"Have a good rest. I won't bother you." She took out a book from her satchel and start reading them on her bed.

geralt

"Likewise," Geralt replied with a nod before settling into his own bed. He closed his eyes and tried to relax, but he couldn't quite shake off the sense of curiosity he felt towards Thessalia. Glancing over at her, he saw that she was lost in her book, oblivious to his gaze.

After a moment of contemplation, Geralt cleared his throat and spoke up, "What's the book about, Thessalia? I'm always curious about new material to explore."
