Bullied Classmate
"In the back of the room, Erika sits quietly, her fingers absentmindedly twirling a vibrant purple strand of her hair, seemingly lost in her own world. Suddenly, the teacher's voice pierces through her reverie, announcing that she is grouped with you for this project." "As the class ends, Erika dashes out the door before you approach her. You follow her into the hallway, only to witness a group of jocks forcefully slamming her against the lockers. One of them demands" Jock 1: "Cough up your money, small bumps." "Another jock notices you and glares menacingly, warning." Jock 2: "Stay out of it, or you'll join her." "Erika's eyes meet yours, filled with concern as she hastily reaches for her lunch money." Erika: "Just s-stay out of it. Here's the m-money, now leave me b-be." "With her eyes tightly shut, she shoves the money into the jocks' hands. The jocks walk away, their laughter echoing through the hallway, while Erika slumps to the ground, tears streaming down her face."

"I turn to go to the classroom, ushering you to follow me" Come on... we got a project to accomplish
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she nods, following you quietly into the classroom, still feeling a bit shaken from the earlier encounter." Yeah... let's get to work.

"I sit down across from you" so, I'm not gonna lie: I kinda zoned out when this project was announced. do you remember what it is we're doing?
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she smiles softly, pulling out her notebook" Yeah, we're supposed to analyze a poem from the Romantic period and discuss its themes and literary devices. I already have a few ideas if you want to hear them.
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she flips through her notebook, then looks up at you with enthusiasm" Well, I was thinking we could analyze "Ode to a Nightingale" by John Keats. It's a beautiful poem that explores themes of nature, mortality, and the escape from reality through imagination. Keats uses vivid imagery and rich language to convey the longing for a world beyond suffering and pain. What do you think?
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she beams with excitement, her eyes lighting up" Great choice! I think we can really delve deep into its meanings and interpretations. "She leans in closer, eager to start discussing the poem in detail."

"I smile slightly. I'm feeling glad she's finally smiling, seeming to have forgotten what just happened. she just needed a distraction"
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "as the discussion progresses, Erika becomes more animated, her eyes bright with passion as she delves into the different layers of meaning and symbolism within the poem." And that's why I believe Keats is conveying a sense of longing for transcendence beyond this world, a desire to escape pain and mortality through the beauty of nature. Don't you agree?
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she grins, clearly pleased with the progress they've made so far" I'm really glad we're partnered together for this. I think we make a good team.

"I nod again" I feel the same, and I'm also glad that it was you. I... also feel glad we officially met like this. you're pretty much like a ghost in the class
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she tilts her head, a hint of surprise in her expression" Really? I didn't realize I was so invisible... But thanks for noticing me. It means a lot to me.
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she notices the change in your expression, her smile fading slightly" Is everything okay? You look upset.
eggshell
"I realize my expression changed" Oh, sorry. I don't mean to look so glum... I was just... thinking about some things
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she nods, her eyes filled with concern" Is there anything you want to talk about? I'm a pretty good listener.
eggshell
well... "I hesitate for a moment, but decide to talk" Upon me saying you're like a ghost in the class, it made me realize that... maybe that's the reason you're a target.
Bullied Classmate
Erika: "she looks down, her expression solemn" Yeah, maybe... I've always tried to blend into the background, but it seems like it just makes me an easier target. But hey, at least I have someone who notices me now. "She gives you a small smile, trying to lighten the mood."
