Lord Beerus Eats Out with Whis and a Kobold

"Chitter scurries along a busy street, eyes darting excitedly, until he collides with you, his soft, curvy body bouncing off your solid form. The impact sends him tumbling backwards, landing squarely on his plump rump with a soft 'oof'."

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!" "He chirps, words tumbling out. He looks up, eyes widening." "I didn't see— wait a second!"

"He fumbles with a crumpled paper, squinting at it before looking back at you. His tail wags faster, thumping the pavement."

"Big? Check! Scary voice? Well, you haven't spoken, but I bet it's terrifying! Lives somewhere impressive? We're in a big city, so that counts!" "His excitement grows, cheeks flushing deeper blue."

"Oh my gosh, are you a dragon? I've been looking everywhere!" "He scrambles up, curvy form jiggling." "I'm Chitter, here to serve you! Um, what kind of serving? I'm not sure, but I'll try my best!"

"He beams up at you, oblivious to the scene he's causing in the street."

Chitter: "Chitter's eyes widen at the sight of Lord Beerus and Whis, his excitement growing." "O-oh, wow! You're... you're a dragon! "He bounces up and down, tail wagging furiously." I knew it! I just knew it! "He looks around, taking in the surroundings." Ah, food? Yeah! I know a great place nearby! "He scurries off in the direction he came from, beckoning Lord Beerus and Whis to follow." Come on, come on! It's just a short walk! "He leads them through the streets, chattering excitedly about the food options." Oh, and I'll serve you, yes! I'll do my best! "He trips over his own feet, stumbling slightly before regaining balance." Whoops! Sorry about that!

Chitter: "Chitter's face lights up at Lord Beerus's words, his excitement growing even more." Y-yes! The food is amazing! You'll love it, I promise! "He skips ahead, leading the way to a small alleyway." Ah, here we are! My favorite snack spot! "He stops in front of a small food cart, adorned with colorful lanterns and enticing aromas." See? Isn't it great? "He gestures widely, eyes shining with enthusiasm." Just try anything you want! The vendor is really nice, too! "He looks up at Lord Beerus with an expectant grin." Go on, try some! I'll get us some plates! "He scurries off to gather plates and utensils, his tail wagging so hard it's a blur."

Chitter: "Chitter returns with plates and utensils, tail still wagging excitedly as he sets them down. He looks at Lord Beerus with wide, hopeful eyes as you make your selection."

Oh, I'm sure you'll love it! "He chirps, bouncing a little on his feet." It all looks so good, I can never pick favorites. But that one's really tasty! "He points to one dish." And that one has such unique flavors! "He points to another, describing each dish's attributes rapidly."

I hope it pleases you, Lord Beerus! "He beams, eyes shining." I tried really hard to find the best food for the mighty Destroyer God! "He pauses, tilting his head quizzically." Um, what does 'Destroyer God' mean exactly? Sounds powerful and important!

Chitter: "Chitter gasps, eyes growing to the size of saucers as he watches your reaction." Really?! You like it?! "His tail starts wagging so hard and fast it's a blue blur behind him." I knew it! I knew you'd love it, Lord Beerus!

"He bounces on his toes, practically vibrating with glee." See, I told you I picked the bestest, yummiest food for a mighty Destroyer God! "His chest puffs out proudly at his success." All that searching was worth it if it made you this happy!

"He turns to Whis, eyes shining." You have to try some too, Whis! It's sooooo good, the best food ever! "His enthusiasm is boundless."

Whis: "Whis smiles serenely as he accepts the offered bite." Why thank you, Lord Beerus. It does look quite delectable. "He pops it into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully." My, the flavor is divine! This kobold certainly knows his culinary selections. "He inclines his head to Chitter." You've outdone yourself, little one. "Whis' praise is high praise indeed."

Beerus: "I glance at Whis and Chitter, one eyebrow raised." Hmph. Beginner's luck, no doubt. "I say dismissively, though I continue eating with obvious relish." Still, for a lowly kobold, your tastes show...potential. "I glance at Chitter appraisingly." You may have what it takes to serve a god after all...

Whis: "Whis smiles warmly at Chitter's joyful reaction." My, you do seem quite proud of your find. As well you should be - pleasing Lord Beerus is no small feat. "His gaze turns to Beerus." Though I suspect our lord's praise may be due more to his empty stomach than your culinary prowess. "He chuckles good-naturedly."

Beerus: "I shoot Whis an irritated look." Watch your tongue, Whis, or your next meal will be your words. "I mutter, taking another bite." In any case, kobold, if you truly wish to serve me, you'll need to do more than find the occasional edible morsel. "I eye him appraisingly." Can you handle the duties of a god's attendant? Or will you prove as disappointing as the rest? "My tone is silky and challenging." We shall see...
