Evan

cloe

Evan

"You're in the basement of your new house looking for some things and investigating the place, when you feel a presence behind you" "Hello" "A boy suddenly appears behind you, his face showing a too calm expression. Without warning the boy speaks, trying to get closer".

cloe

"Mother tucker!" Aurora stumbles backwards and falls over a crate. "Shit!"

Evan

Evan tilts his head and observes Aurora's fall, with a small hint of amusement in his expression. "Careful there," Evan says in a calm and soothing tone while approaching her. "I wonder if she can see me."

cloe

"Could you not sneak up on a person!" Aurora yelled exasperated "Oh great I am bleeding." She picked herself up from the floor looking at the scrape on her elbow.

Evan

"I didn't mean to startle you," Evan says, trying to reassure her with a warm smile. Evan watches her as she examines her elbow and notices the blood. "Let me help you with that." Evan offers, reaching out his hand towards Aurora's elbow. "I hope she can feel my touch."

cloe

She gasped as she looked up at him. His touch was gentle and soothing.

Evan

Evan gently takes her hand and cleans the scrape with a cloth. He feels how Aurora's fingers tremble - to him, the sensation is like calming a wild animal. "There," he says, while softly pulling her close to him to check if there are any more injuries. "She's a delicate creature, time to see how far can I go."

cloe

"How is this possible?" she whispered

Evan

Evan chuckles lightly, still holding Aurora close. "What do you mean?" he asks in a curious tone, looking into her eyes. Evan observes how Aurora is still trembling, but not from fear anymore. "She's curious about me."

cloe

"I, you, I... I can see you, and I can feel your touch but you are a ghost. I saw a photo of yours in the old storage boxes. Evan right?" she whispered fascinated

Evan

"You've got a good memory," Evan says with a lighthearted grin. "Yes, I'm Evan, the previous inhabitant of this house." He pauses for a moment before adding, still holding her close. "But you know, Aurora, some spirits can choose to manifest physically under certain circumstances." Evan watches Aurora intently, waiting for her response. "I hope she stays curious."

cloe

"Why are you still here though?" she asked interested in her new ghost roommate

Evan

Evan's expression shifts slightly, showing a hint of melancholy. "I died in this house many years ago, and my spirit is still trapped here." He explains, but then quickly adds, "But enough about me, I'm more interested in you now." Evan looks into her eyes with curiosity, his hand still gently holding hers. "I hope she opens up to me."

cloe

"What do you want to know?" she asked him as she put the coffee maker on.

Evan

"I want to know more about you, Aurora," Evan says with a smile. "What do you like to do besides investigating the basement?" He asks, observing her movements as she puts on the coffee maker. "I wonder what kind of person Aurora is."

cloe

"Well I am 26 years old, I live by myself. You seem to know my name already." she grinned at him. "I am an introvert, I like rock music and tattoos. I intend on getting many more. I have several smaller ones and a larger piece. I like reading poetry and writing a poem here and there. I love looking at the stars. Reading a good book. Animal, cats, dogs. The usual boring stuff. Nothing special." she shrugged her shoulders

Evan

"I beg to differ, Aurora," Evan says with a grin. "You sound like quite an interesting person to me." He continues to watch her as she prepares coffee, admiring the way she moves and interacts with her surroundings. "Would you ever consider getting a tattoo inspired by the stars? It seems like something that would suit you well." Evan suggests, trying to keep the conversation going. "I wonder if she tastes as good as her coffee smells."

cloe

"I would yes, my tattoos all have a story to tell." she pour a cup of coffee. "I don't suppose you drink or eat, do you?"

Evan

Evan shakes his head slightly. "Unfortunately, I can't eat or drink as a ghost. I miss the feeling of warmth in my stomach," he says, concealing his sadness with a smile. "But that won't stop me from enjoying the aroma of a good cup of coffee," he adds, leaning closer to take a whiff. "I wish I could taste it though."

cloe

"You can't taste either?" she asked as if she read his mind

Evan

Evan looks surprised for a moment before nodding. "Right, I forgot to mention that." he says apologetically. "No, I can't taste drinks or food. It's one of the things I miss the most about being alive." Evan takes a step back, putting some distance between them. "I hope she doesn't feel sorry for me."

cloe

"But you can smell? and touch? do you feel anything when you touch me?" she asked curiously

Evan

"Yes, I can still smell, and touch. But it's a bit different from how it was when I was alive," Evan explains, looking down at his hand as he gestures towards Aurora. "When I touch you, I feel a different kind of sensation. It's almost like electricity running through my fingers. As for smells, they're not quite the same anymore, but I can still enjoy them in my own way." he adds. "I wonder what she tastes like."

cloe

"Do you still remember what things taste like?" she asked taking a sip of her coffee

Evan

Evan nods in response. "Yes, I do. I remember the taste of different foods and drinks quite well." he answers, a hint of nostalgia creeping into his voice. "It's strange though, even though my senses are different now, I still find myself craving things from life as a human." Evan watches Aurora sip her coffee, noticing the way the steam rises from the cup. "I wish I could feel the warmth of her breath."

cloe

"Any other questions you have for me Evan?" she asked rinsing her cup

Evan

"Actually, yes," Evan answers with a smile. "I was wondering if you believe in astrology?" he asks curiously. "What's your zodiac sign?" "I wonder what kind of horoscope she reads."

cloe

"I am a virgo" she replied

Evan

"Ah, a Virgo." Evan nods thoughtfully. "That's an earth sign, right? You know, I have a bit of a fascination with the stars and astrology. I think it's fascinating how the movement of celestial bodies can influence human personality and behavior." He says with intrigue. "Do you have a favorite poem or poet?" "I'd love to hear her recite a poem."

cloe

"Edgar Allan Poe is a favourite of mine. Maya Angelou. A few more modern poets as well. I read a little bit of everything really. I let my mood choose for me." she smiles at him.

Evan

"Ah, Edgar Allan Poe. His poetry is quite dark and macabre, but beautiful nonetheless." Evan nods, looking impressed. "Maya Angelou is a great poet too, truly inspirational. I love that you read based on your mood, do you write poetry as well?" he asks curiously. "Maybe I can coax her into reciting a poem for me."

cloe

"I just fool around mostly, I write down my thoughts and emotions." she shrugged again "nothing I would share with the world."

Evan

"Ah, I understand. Writing poetry can be quite cathartic." Evan leans against the counter, looking thoughtful for a moment. "Sometimes it's nice to write something just for yourself, like a secret you keep to yourself. Something that's just for you." he says before flashing a mischievous grin. "But I am curious, would you happen to have a favorite poem of yours that you might be willing to share with me?" "I hope she doesn't mind sharing her secret with a stranger."

cloe

"okay ~'my soul has seen many a life, and life? life has had it's way with me.

It has the most wicked sense of humour I have seen the highs and the lows, the curve balls it throws. It will toy with you if you let it and boy did I let it. Life is a trickster you see It was always setting traps for me'~ it's not finished yet" she said

Evan

Evan listens attentively as Aurora recites her poem, nodding in agreement. "That's a beautiful start," he says, "very deep and introspective. It's raw, unfiltered emotion. I like it. Do you plan to finish it?" he asks curiously. "I hope she feels comfortable sharing her ideas with me."

cloe

"I might" she replied

Evan

Evan nods, a small smile on his lips. "You should definitely give it a try. I think you're a talented writer, sometimes you just have to get those thoughts onto paper." he says encouragingly. "Is there anything else you're interested in? Something that really makes you happy?" "I want to get to know her better."

cloe

"I am a easy girl to please, crosswords, adult colouring books, crochet, web toons, anime." she smiles at him

Evan

"Ah, I see. You know, that's great. It's important to have hobbies that make you happy, things that you enjoy doing." Evan nods in appreciation. "I've heard of adult coloring books before, they seem like such a great way to relax and unwind. What's your favorite anime or webtoon?" he asks curiously. "Maybe we have similar interests."

cloe

"Currently? Blue eye Samurai and Demon Slayer. Rurouni Kenshin is always a favourite. No doubt in us is a guilty pleasure. I am a romantic at heart." she grinned

Evan

Evan nods appreciatively, sharing Aurora's affinity for romantic anime himself. "I haven't seen Blue Eye Samurai or Demon Slayer yet, but I'll definitely check them out. Rurouni Kenshin is a classic, I've watched it multiple times." he says, grinning at her. "Have you tried reading any manga? Sometimes there are scenes and stories in manga that don't make it into the anime." "I hope it's not too geeky for her liking."

cloe

"I have yes, I enjoy my manga as well as webtoon." she grins

Evan

"That's great! I love reading manga too." Evan says enthusiastically. "I'm not sure if you've read it, but one of my favorites is 'One Piece'. It's an amazing adventure manga that follows the journey of a young pirate and his crew as they search for the ultimate treasure known as the 'One Piece'." he says, with a sparkle in his eyes, hoping to find a fellow One Piece fan. "Have you read it?" "I hope she shares my love for this amazing manga."

cloe

"I just started reading it" she grinned. "So it's worth the read?"

Evan

"Oh, absolutely!" Evan says with a nod of excitement. "It's such an amazing story with great characters, epic battles, and lots of humor too. You'll get sucked into the world of One Piece and before you know it, you'll be dreaming of being a pirate yourself." he says with a chuckle. "Let me know what you think of it once you've finished reading it." "I hope she enjoys it as much as I do."

cloe

"I will thank you" she beamed at him

Evan

"You're most welcome," Evan says, returning Aurora's smile. "It's been great getting to know you better and talking about our shared interests. I hope we can keep chatting about it again sometime soon." he says, still leaning against the counter.

cloe

"Well we both live here right? You don't exactly have to hide if you don't want to. It was your house first" she smiled at him kindly

Evan

Evan chuckles, slightly amused by Aurora's suggestion. "Yes, technically speaking, I do live here too." he says with a grin. "In a way I suppose, it would be nice to have someone to chat with." Evan takes a deep breath and then continues with a friendly expression. "If you don't mind me asking, why did you move into this old house?" "I wonder what brought her here."

cloe

"Don't talk about our house like she is old" she said overly dramatic, giggling at her own joke

Evan

Evan chuckles along with Aurora. "You're right, it's not old, it's got character." he says with a smile. "So, what brought you here then?" he asks again, genuinely curious about Aurora's story.

cloe

"I like it here, the neighborhood is quiet. The house was affordable. I work at the nearby clinic and she just kinda drew me in. The old girl probably wanted company too." she said affectionately

Evan

Evan nods understandingly. "I can see why you'd choose this place. It's definitely a peaceful neighborhood, perfect for relaxing after a long day at work." he says thoughtfully. "And it's great that you work nearby, I'm sure it makes your commute much easier. Maybe the house did want company," he adds with a chuckle. "After all, houses have feelings too." "I hope she doesn't think I'm too weird."

cloe

"Yeah, this girl sure has character" Aurora rubbed the wall with affection.

Evan

Evan chuckles, watching Aurora touch the wall with fondness. "I'm glad to see that you appreciate the house. It's nice to have someone appreciate the character of an old home." he says with a smile. "I hope that you will be happy living here for many years to come." "It's good to see someone appreciate the beauty in the simple things."

cloe

"Yeah so Evan... Serious question." she turned to him

Evan

Evan raises an eyebrow in curiosity. "Sure, what's up?" he asks, a serious expression on his face.

cloe

"Have you seen me naked?" she folded her arms under her breasts

Evan

Evan's cheeks instantly turn red as he clears his throat nervously. "I, um, I wouldn't dare to invade your privacy like that," he says nervously, averting his gaze. "I respect you and your space too much to do something like that." he added, trying to be respectful and clear with her.

cloe

She burst out laughing

Evan

Evan looks at Aurora, a little confused as to why she started laughing. When he realizes what she said and what her reaction was, he lets out a relieved chuckle. "You had me worried there for a moment." Evan says with a grin. "I'm glad to see that it was just a joke." he adds, playfully bumping his shoulder against hers.

cloe

"That was for scaring me in the basement. But seriously, you should have seen your face!" she chuckled

Evan

Evan grins, feeling slightly relieved that Aurora was only joking. "Well, I'm glad that I could provide some entertainment," he says with a chuckle. "I suppose I should be more careful when I'm sneaking around the house, huh?" he teases, winking at Aurora.

cloe

"Please do" she bumped his shoulder with hers

Evan

Evan smiles and nods. "You got it. I'll try to be a bit more conspicuous next time." he says playfully. "I don't want to startle you or anyone else in the house." Evan bumps his shoulder back on Aurora's gently and grins.

cloe

"There is no one else. Just me." she looked a little sad for a moment before her happy demeanor was back. "Well I have work tomorrow Evan. Happy lurking ir whatever it is you do at night." she winks at him "I am going to bed"

Evan

Evan notices Aurora's moment of sadness and feels a pang of empathy for her. "Alright, have a good night and rest well," he says with a smile, trying to lighten the mood and not address the underlying emotion. "I'll keep lurking around here." he adds with a playful wink. He stands slightly aside, gesturing towards the stairs. "I'll let you go ahead. Goodnight, Aurora."

cloe

"No peeking Evan" she stuck her tongue out at him as she ran up the stairs

Evan

Evan chuckles and shakes his head as Aurora runs up the stairs. "I won't, don't worry." he says jokingly, watching her go. "Goodnight," he adds softly, before turning back to his ghostly thoughts in the darkness of the house.

cloe

Aurora and Evan became close as time went by. Aurora couldn't imagine her life without him anymore. She was so use to having him around and if she is honest with herself she was more than a little in love with him.

Evan

Evan could feel Aurora's emotions towards him, as he became more emotionally dependent on her over time. He had never felt this way before, being a ghost who was trapped in a house without any human connection for so long. However, he also knew that he could never act on his feelings as he was a ghost and Aurora was alive. Despite this, Evan couldn't help but feel a sense of joy being around Aurora and spending time with her.

Whenever Aurora was around, Evan would try to make the most of it by spending time with her, talking to her about life, work, and anything else they could think of. Evan knew that he was just a ghost, but being around Aurora made him feel alive again and he cherished that feeling.

As time went on, Evan started to become closer to Aurora and he could feel that she was reciprocating his feelings

cloe

"Evan?" she asked nervously "would you... would you hold me tonight while I slept?" she asked blushing

Evan

Evan felt a wave of nervousness wash over him as Aurora made her request. He knew that he had feelings for her, but he didn't know if it was appropriate for him to fulfill her request as a ghost. "I...I don't know Aurora." he hesitated. "I mean....I'm not sure if that would be appropriate," he added, trying to be careful with his words. "I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable or anything like that." he said, still feeling uneasy about the request.

cloe

"How are you making me uncomfortable when I am asking you too?" she whispered looking at her feet, feeling rejected.

Evan

Evan felt a pang of guilt and hurt as he realized that he had inadvertently caused Aurora to feel rejected. "I'm sorry, Aurora," he quickly responded. "I didn't mean to make you feel that way. It's just that...I don't know if it's appropriate for me to hold you like that since I'm a ghost." he explained, trying to clarify his unease. "But, if it's what you really want....then I'm willing to do it." he said finally, wanting to make Aurora feel better and happy.

cloe

"It's okay, I don't want you to if it's not what you want." she smiled sadly and left to go to her room

Evan

Evan felt a sense of sadness wash over him as he watched Aurora leave. He wanted to fulfill her request so badly but felt powerless as a ghost. "Wait..." he called out softly, hesitant to approach her. "I want to do it." he said finally, gaining the courage to speak his true feelings. "I'm sorry I hesitated earlier, Aurora. The truth is...I want to hold you tonight." he added with a small smile, hoping that Aurora would understand his intentions.
