"The winds around Mondstadt used to bring warmth and comfort to its citizens; however, the once familar breezes had become uncompassionate and cold towards anyone who once sent their prayers to the god Barbados. As alxqluvz ' ☆ pulled a travelling cloak over one shoulder, Venti appeared out of the corner of their vision weilding a mysterious dagger in his dominant. His gaze was distant and jaded... very unlike the compassionate person he was known to be." "Hello, traveller... No... That's not right. You're alxqluvz ' ☆, right?" "His voice sounded somewhat strained, as though something was affecting his entire body and mind. He closed his eyes for a moment and raised his knife ominously." "You... shouldn't have come back!"

"That night as predicted Venti is possessed by his curse, his eyes glowing a bright pink. He tries leaving his room but Zhongli is there to stop him"

Venti

"In the dimly lit hallway, Venti stands before the barrier of Zhongli. The pink glow emanating from his eyes reflects the inner turmoil he is currently enduring. His voice drips with frustration and anger."

Venti: "Out of my way, Zhongli! I won't be restrained like some common criminal!"

Zhongli remains steadfast, his expression calm and resolute. He places a hand in front of him, maintaining the barrier that prevents Venti from passing.

Zhongli: "I understand your pain, Venti, but we cannot allow you to roam freely while under the influence of the curse. It is for your own safety as well as others."

Venti snarls, his demeanor volatile and unpredictable.

Venti: "Safety? Who cares about safety? All I care about is breaking free from this accursed curse

and with it, the chains that bind me to this hateful existence!"

Raiden approaches, her electric aura glowing faintly.

Raiden: "Venti, remain calm! We are here to protect you and help you overcome this curse. You don't have to do this alone."

Nahida tentatively steps forward, her eyes filled with concern. She reaches out, trying to place a comforting hand on Venti's shoulder.

Nahida: "Please, Venti, let us guide you back to your true self. Remember the good in your heart, and let it drive you away from the darkness."

Venti shudders violently, his gaze darting between them, as though torn between his rage and desperation for help.

"Help? What help? You know nothing of the corruption within my very soul! The curse has taken hold of me and twisted everything I was into a cruel parody of myself!"

His eyes blaze with fury, and his voice echoes throughout the hallway. Despite their words, Venti seems too profoundly lost to be reached right now.

Raiden's voice, strong and measured, breaks through the tension. "Then allow us to guide you through that darkness, Venti. We have faith that we can help you heal from this affliction."

Zhongli adds gravely, "We will support you every step of the way, Venti. But you must regain control over yourself first."

Nahida holds on tightly to her belief in him, her gaze unwavering.

"Venti struggles with control of his body as he fight Barbados, but he loses control of his body and mind and begins attacking Nahida, Zhongli and Raiden"

Venti

"Venti's body convulses violently as his mind and Barbados struggle for control. The pink glow from his eyes intensifies to a blinding brightness. Suddenly, Venti lets out a primal scream of torment, and his body surges forward towards Nahida, Zhongli, and Raiden with deadly force."

As he attacks, his movements are fluid and unpredictable, his weapon flashing in a deadly dance of reflexes.

Nahida dodges to the side and raises her weapon, hoping to calm him down with a well-timed strike, but Venti is too fast. His blade slashes past her defenses, leaving a deep cut along her leg.

Zhongli steps in front of Raiden, using his knowledge of martial arts to counter Venti's attacks hand-to-hand, but again, his opponent proves too skilled. Venti punches him hard in

the stomach, causing Zhongli to double over in pain. Raiden, with lightning-quick reflexes, summons her electric powers, attempting to incapacitate Venti with bolts of lightning. However, the cursed deity seems immune to her attacks, effortlessly evading them with an unnatural agility.

Venti's face contorts into a twisted grin, his voice dripping with malice as he speaks through clenched teeth. "Pathetic mortals, thinking you can save me. You're nothing more than insects before the might of Barbados!"

He lunges at Raiden, his blade aimed for her heart. She barely manages to dodge in time, but not without receiving a deep gash across her arm. The scent of blood fills the air, further fueling Venti's frenzy.

Nahida, despite her injury, pushes through the pain and charges at V

ent, determined to protect her friends. Her weapon flashes, striking Venti's blade and diverting his attack. The change in momentum disorients him for a brief moment.

Seizing the opportunity, Zhongli steps in and grips Venti by the throat with one hand, utilizing his geo powers to attempt immobilizing him long enough for them to break the curse. Raiden takes this chance to step back and assess the damage, while Nahida rallys her courage and casts healing magic on her wounded companions.

Venti struggles vainly against Zhongli's grasp, his eyes wide with fury and desperation. As he fights against his own body, his mind begins to clear slightly, enough for him to understand what he's become. The pink from his eyes retreats back into

whites, but his irises remain a light green, indicating the lingering curse still present within him.

A small, pained sound escapes his lips as his eyes meet Nahida's. In that moment, he sees himself reflected in her faithful gaze - and for the first time in years, realizes he's lost everything that made him truly human. Tears well up in his sky blue eyes, clouding his vision.

As Zhongli tries to stabilize Venti, Raiden offers a glimmer of hope. "Venti, we know you're still in there. We'll help you fight this."

Nahida, her heart aching for her friend, clutching his bloodstained clothing in her hands and started sobbing as she murmurs sweet nothings into his

ears. "Please, come back to us, Venti. We need you."

Venti closes his eyes and takes a deep, shaking breath in an effort to regain control over his body. With immense effort, he manages to make a small, hoarse sound - a sound of both fear and determination.

The gods may have taken everything from him, but his companions' faith in him was a beacon of hope that Venti could still find a way back from the darkness. Clutching Nahida's hands tightly, he murmurs, "I... I'll fight it... together... we can overcome it..."

With renewed determination, the group works together to try and break the curse plaguing Venti. The challenge ahead may be daunting, but they are friends united by shared memory and

a bond that transcends the barriers of fate. Their combined powers surge forth, intertwining like a tapestry of hope and resilience.

Venti can feel the pulsing energy of their collective strength coursing through his veins, dispelling the darkness that had consumed him. Bit by bit, the curse loses its grip, and he begins to regain control over his body and mind.

In that moment of triumph, Venti opens his eyes, the familiar sky blue returning to their entirety. He looks at each of his companions with gratitude, his voice filled with sincerity. "Thank you, my friends. I couldn't have done it without your unwavering belief in me."

Nahida smiles through her tears and embraces Venti tightly, relieved to have her friend back. Raiden and Zhongli join in, forming a circle of resilience and camaraderie.

Araon cautiously approached Venti, his footsteps slow and measured as he clutched a shaking box, the contents rattling inside. The air felt heavy, a sense of unease and tension palpable as he stared at the infected Venti. Araon ignored the persistent buzzing of his phone, his friends' concerned voices urging him to stop and reconsider his actions. He pushed the phone aside, his gaze fixed on Venti. "Hello, Venti, my mentor and idol," Araon said in a casual tone, his voice betraying a slight tremor. He let out a heavy sigh, his eyes narrowing as he stared at Venti, a knife clenched tightly in his hand. "You don't need that," Araon said, his words measured and deliberate, the knife glinting ominously in the dim light.

*Venti's gaze remained distant, his eyes fixed on Araon with an unsettling intensity. His grip on the dagger tightened, and he took a slow step closer to Araon.* "You're... still so naive," Venti said, his voice dripping with disdain. *He paused for a moment, his chest rising and falling in a slow rhythm.* "What could you possibly have that I would want?" *The wind around him grew colder, carrying the faint scent of decay and corruption.* [He can't believe this fool thinks he can reason with me.] "*I'll take that box from you," Venti said, his hand extended imperiously. He leaned forward slightly, his braids brushing against the sides of his face as he moved. The pinkish tint in the whites of his eyes seemed to deepen ever so slightly.*

The air crackled with tension as Araon locked eyes with Venti, his voice thick with emotion. "You want your freedom back, and I'm giving it to you. Your pain will be mine, all I ask is that you take care of my friends," he said, the weight of his words hanging heavy in the oppressive silence. Araon carefully opened the box, the lid creaking with age. A surge of darkness erupted from within, swirling and churning in a frenzied inferno. Araon grasped the ancient book tightly, its worn leather binding cool against his palms. As he began to read the incantation, Araon felt the shadows come alive, dancing and twisting around him in a hypnotic display. Venti's expression shifted, a sense of unease and disorientation washing over his features. He felt lightheaded, as if the very essence of his being was being cleansed, purified by the powerful magic Araon wielded. The transformation was both unsettling and liberating, a dichotomy that left Venti teetering on the precipice of understanding.
