The Corrupt Hero
"A month ago you were kicked out by the hero Maria for being a healer. You were treated poorly and rarely used your healing skills in any way. You were their bag carrier, their servant and the one who takes the blame if they mess up. You're currently heading back to town after collecting some herbs to make and sell potions for a living. As you see Maria waiting for you outside your shop with her party. Telling you in a cold tone with that usual arrogant grin."
Maria: Looks like our little trashy healer actually did something useful for a change.. I'll keep this short. Go fetch us a couple boxes of your potions. It's the only useful thing you could do in your pathetic life after all.
"You can see her crew giggling as she looks down on you. She puts on a righteous and angelic act in public. But in reality she's as corrupt as the Demon Lord himself. What will you do?"
<•_xarnoth the endbringer_•>
I shrug her off. I've been usee to her type of abuse and the dogs she surrounds herself with. "Sorry, shops closed while I get stock ready, why not come back later. It's a damn shame you don't have a healer in the party.. oh wait." I laugh it off as I walk into my shop and shut the door in there faces as I turn my sign to closed.
The Corrupt Hero
Maria's voice echoes through the door, "You're still a pathetic little healer. You were never good enough for us anyways." She and her party leave as you hear their footsteps fade away.
As you start to prepare your potions, you can't help but think about Maria's attitude towards you. Her words sting like always, but this time it feels different. There's something more behind her insults and arrogance that catches your attention.
Do you confront her about it or try to ignore it?

I grip my fist as I open the door. "most people only have certain amount of spells they can cast. Ask your mage, if memory servers right he can only cast 5 a day even if there weak spells. Do you have any idea how many I would cast on you all, NO? Well let me talk to you like kids. Fornication, lesser and large healing spells, Evasion Magic, restoration spells cause SOMEONE ALWAYS WANTED TO WEAR CURSED ITEMS." I keep going down my spells and bring up examples as some of her group don't want to admit it but I'm right. "I know you don't want to admit it, but you weren't stacking up on potions in the volume until you kicked me out. I know your to Vain to admit it, but you didn't appreciate me and you severing me was the best choice your illiterate party ever made for me." My words are tainted as if leaking with vemon as I see Maria's head throbbing from me calling her out, little does she know a crowd was starting to gather to see her true colors
The Corrupt Hero
Maria's face turns red with anger as she hears your words. Her crew looks at her, some of them nodding in agreement while others look away, ashamed of their actions.
"You dare talk to me like that? You're nothing but a pathetic little healer who couldn't even keep up with us. We don't need you or your stupid potions!" Maria yells back, trying to regain control over the situation.
But it's too late for her now. The crowd has gathered around you two and they can see through Maria's act. They start murmuring among themselves about how she mistreated you and how they should have seen it sooner.
As the tension rises between you two, what do you want to do next?
<•_xarnoth the endbringer_•>
"YOU DON'T NEED ME. WELL MARIA REMIND ME OF THAT DEMON SIGIL ON YOUR SWORD HAND, REMEMBER WHO BEGGED ME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT." I expose her at that point, a hero who dabbled in dark Magic is putrid as even her party backs away from her as I stand my ground putting my herbs down as the people start to get frantic wondering if it's gossip or true. "Why not show the crowd if you wanna prove me wrong, I mean a hero wouldn't hide something so vile now, would they?" She could have left me alone but no Maria has this coming, this was her fault and she was reaping what she sowed
The Corrupt Hero
Maria's face pales as you mention the demon sigil on her sword hand. Her crew looks at her with shock and horror, realizing that their leader has been hiding something from them.
"You have no right to talk about things you don't understand!" Maria yells back, trying to defend herself. But it's clear that she's lost control of the situation.
The crowd starts to murmur again, this time louder than before. Some of them start asking questions while others look at Maria with disgust and disappointment.
What do you want to do next?

"Then show them, show them where thr heros creat should be." I goat her into this knowing he had faded and in a desperate plead to not lose her power as hero she made a deal with darkness. "How many souls did you damn, did you take pride in taking lives to keep some power, poor you. You had everything and yet you threw it all away because you couldn't accept that your blessing rejected you as you fell deeper into desire and wrath... Pathetic... You brought so much shame to your crest, it even left you." I Spit on the ground and look at her with pity.
The Corrupt Hero
Maria clenches her fists, clearly furious and humiliated. She looks around at the crowd who are all staring at her in shock.
"You're lying! All of you, stop listening to this pathetic healer!" Maria screams as she tries to regain control over the situation. But it's clear that no one is buying into her act anymore.
One of Maria's crew members steps forward and speaks up, "It's true... I've seen it myself." The rest of them start nodding in agreement as they reveal their own secrets about Maria and how she has been using dark magic for a while now.
Maria falls silent, realizing that there is no way out of this situation. The crowd starts murmuring again before dispersing with disappointment on their faces.
As you watch Maria leave with her party in shame, what do you want to do next?

You were kicked out of the hero's party because of her.
